Withered - I am
Spirited, you are when you brought me to your home
Where we had spoken our almost perfect vow
From it, I trusted I’m part of your life’s tome
Unanticipatedly, little by little everything is changing now
A flower- I am, you promised to be the sun- you did
Your dazzling rays shined upon me but wasn’t it very strong?
A flower- I am, you promised to be the rain too- you bid
You watered me rarely, and wasn’t that wrong?
Oh, darling, you promised to be both the sun and rain for me
Only the sun I could feel intensely not the rain, I’m parched.
Your reason- you’re engrossed, but so am I, the partiality can’t you see?
You must know- I tried but in God’s acre can’t help but marched
I must say- in breaking promises you’re very skilled
With tears this I wrote, from the one you emotionally killed.
