Honestly, presenting my hentai panel was the main reason I went. And it was honestly probably my favorite part. I also got some kind words about the autism discussion, which made me feel good.
I’m feeling a little better than I was, but honestly still feeling a bit strange about it. IDK how to explain it, though.

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
Most of the time I start with the scene I want to write and work my way out from there, but for shorter prompts and AUs I usually find myself needing to sketch out the setting at the beginning of the story - which is then often rewritten after I figure out the emotional crux. I do a LOT of rewriting.
O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters?
Definitely the characters. For me the fun in writing fanfic is mixing together an assortment of my favorite characters, getting into their heads and seeing what kind of delicious drama soup I can make.
X: A character you enjoy making suffer.
My favorite form of torture is taking a character who believes in something and then putting them into a situation where that belief doesn’t fit. Luke Skywalker is excellent for that because there’s something very relatable about wanting to believe that an ancient order of wizards can solve all our problems. I also enjoy subjecting Fenn Shysa to some form of “be careful what you wish for” torture in his quest for Fett Mand’alor.
