I finished the Rebels Star Wars series recently and it was way better than I thought it would be. What it lacks in animation quality it makes up for it in writing. I highly recommend giving it a watch if you're planning on watching the Ahsoka series that just came out which directly correlates with Rebels. 

The Purrgil circled below the asteroid Ezra and the Ghost would land on, just as the wolves circled the door into the past and future. Hyperspace eyes from the Purrgil, hyperspace eyes from the wolves. He saw the Loth-cat and Loth-wolves in his dreams. They showed him the way. He spoke freedom to the planet; the Purrgil came.

They renew themselves below the gas. They saved his life beneath the gas. He led them to take the refinery. They took him from Lothal.

#1. What Kanan meant to say to Hera

When they have made their escape from the Imperial Dome, Kanan tries to say something to Hera, before being interrupted by Rukh. What was he going to say? I can think of a few possibilities:

1. That he knows Hera is pregnant

2. That he’s probably not going to make it out of the mission alive

3. That the loth wolves told him something (other than him probably dying) that he thinks Hera needs to know

Any of these could be true. What really intrigues me is that Kanan is stopped from saying what he was going to say to Hera. Why? Is it just to create more drama and shock value when he does his sacrifice at the very end of the episode? Or is there something more to it?

#2. Kanan comforting Hera during the World Between Worlds/Lothal Jedi Temple mission

When Sabine and Ezra have gone down to have a closer look at what the Imperials are doing to the Jedi Temple, Hera starts to become worried about them not making it back alive and remembers Kanan’s death and starts to break down a bit. Then she puts a hand to her shoulder and we see a vision of Kanan touching her shoulder and comforting her, and it gives Hera the strength to keep going. It’s implied that Kanan is somehow present during that moment, and that Hera felt his touch even if she couldn’t see him.

Of course, the first answer as to why Kanan could be there is that Kanan became a Force Ghost after he died, which could have happened, but we never see Kanan learning to become a Force Ghost during Rebels. Maybe he could’ve somehow managed to become a Force Ghost even if he didn’t learn how to beforehand, but we’ve already done that with Anakin and I’d prefer that becoming a Force Ghost without needing to learn how to do it be something unique to being the Chosen One.
