After a nightmare, Ezra doesnβt wake up calling for help, he wakes up quiet. That silence is what wakes Kanan every time.
Kanan never tells him βItβs fine.β He says, βYouβre safe. Youβre here. Thatβs what matters.β
Sometimes Ezra asks about people Kanan lost, not to pry, but to understand. Kanan answers honestly, because pretending things didnβt hurt would be unfair to both of them.
