I've just hotlisted my transit card and reordered my health insurance card. My debit card I'm not sure if I can fully cancel online, but I stopped it temporarily and sent my bank a message to see if they could do that or I'll actually have to call :( Hopefully that works.

I've got 40 bucks and assorted bus-fare-sized currency from my reserve, which should last me a few days. Most of my monthly bills have already gone through and I think the one that hasn't is set up as a direct bank transfer rather than a debit card transaction, so it should still work.

Tomorrow I have off so I'll go down to the train station and get a new transit card, and I should hear back from my bank at some point tomorrow too, so I should be able to get everything taken care of or at least in motion.

I keep thinking, "Oh, I should order a new wallet" except I Should Not because my card is stopped. I have the Amazon and Target apps in a folder that is normally called "Buy stuff!!!" but I have renamed it to "Don't buy stuff!!!" so I don't accidentally order anything on my stopped card.

Today, my father's wallet was lost, most likely stolen.

It had all his identification, his credit and debit cards, his license, everything. He's a truck driver who works outside the country, and he can't go back to work without all that. Not to mention that he made nearly all the money for our family.

We can't afford to replace any of that as of right now, and we lost about $500

Here's my mother's post off facebook, asking for help to at least find it, even if the money and credit and debit cards are gone. We need at least his id, license and driver card for him to be able to go back to germany and make money.

I'm not asking for all the money we lost, just for help to replace his needed paperwork and identification, so he can go back to work.
