Hi. I also want to talk about the holiday art, where each character is seen holding a different holiday-themed object. The object choices feel deliberate, so I am going to be giving my two cents on each character.
Art from Shirahama Kamome's Twitter here. All images are from the Independent Wiki.
Coco: She has a holly wreath, a staple of Christmas decoration (decking the halls, anyone?). Holly has an old history with the winter solstice - a sprig of holly is believed to be associated with protection against evil and growth even in cold and darkness, things I would like very much for Coco to have. A wreath's circular nature represents the eternal cycle of life and the seasons. Spring will come again, even in the darkest winter. If we want to go full Christian symbolism, the holly represents the crown of thorns that Jesus wore, with the red berries being drops of his blood, meant to represent his sacrifice. Now I am begging pleading for Coco to not be made into some kind of Christ-figure please do not let the Child of Hope be a sacrifice. Holly also, as one of the few things that grows green in winter, offers a safe place for small animals, something that Coco does quite regularly. <3
Agott: She has a book! Not much to say here, other than it could either be a spellbook or some kind of bible. Agott ends Silver Eve having found her footing, confidence, and importantly, her love for magic again. Her knowledge of old decorative sigils that no one really cared about or remembered was a huge game-changer against the leech. Agott's interest in the decorative spells and her goal to become a librarian sets her up as something of a record-keeper or archivist of knowledge, represented by her book of "scripture" here. Importantly though, it also may highlight how Agott still keeps fairly close to the rules of the Pact, and is the apprentice least tempted by forbidden magic. It'll be interesting to see if something will rattle her enough to change that later or not.
Tetia: Bells are traditionally used to signal the start or end of something (ex. "ringing in the New Year"). They are welcoming, bright, and musical, associated with several classic Christmas songs, just like Tetia is bright and welcoming and... probably musical too, I'd guess. They're also associated with peace, general goodwill, and healing (!!!).
Richeh: The shepherd's staff is a tool of guidance and direction for those who are lost. Over the course of the story, Richeh finds her direction and her calling as someone who "keeps the flock together" and inspires others through her own self-expression. The staff paints her in the role of a guide. Also if you look at the next row of pictures, I think we can see the little lamb she helped out, hehe
Qifrey: Okay, you know what, this one is mean so I'm just going to list out everything about mistletoe and screech as I do so. It's a symbol of protection and peace that grows evergreen, like the holly, even in winter (people often mix up the two). It's a parasitic plant with medicinal properties. It was the only thing able to kill the beloved Baldr, Norse god of light. There is a whole romantic tradition where people kiss underneath it, and it is highly associated with love. It is poisonous if ingested. It's a talisman associated with hospitality, ensuring all who enter the home know they've entered a safe space. I am vibrating erratically. This is the perfect plant for him.
Olruggio: There is not much I can say here, as the symbolism is obvious. Candles are synonymous with a light in the dark and with the hope that darkness will come to an end. I feel I am much more familiar with candles for Hanukkah, but these artworks are largely Christmas themed, and apparently a candle at Christmas can also signify the guiding Star of Bethlehem. Okaaay, kind and radiant star...
Tartah: He has a nutcracker, a little wooden soldier associated with protection, childhood wonder, and family craftsmanship. All this suits Tartah well! While nutcrackers started as functional tools, they became decorative and ornamental figures for children. It's also associated with the well-known ballet The Nutcracker, where a young girl is pulled into fantasy and befriends a Nutcracker who has come to life, helping to free him from his curse and allowing him to transform back into a human prince. Kind of like Tartah and Coco, in a way.
Euini: Little wolf boy who is also an innocent lamb. Lambs were sacrifices, and unfortunately for Euini, that is exactly what he became in Romonon arc. But if you look at the row above, you'll see that Euini matches with Richeh, the lamb to her shepherd's staff. It is with Richeh's guidance that Euini is able to restore some of his confidence.
Jujy: I am deeply curious about what this means for Jujy, because what she has is an angel's trumpet. Trumpets like these are intended as a herald for celebration, but also for divine messages, and sometimes even for judgement. Is Jujy going to be the herald of some major shift or event?
Custas: He has a lantern with a star inside! This is the least Christmas-y of the objects - instead of holiday theming, I can't help but see it as representative of the magic that both saved and doomed him. Dagda describes him as someone in need of guidance. Hopefully, the star inside this lantern, a symbol of the gift of magic itself, can lead him out of the darkness eventually, and not further into it.
Ininia: I'm not surprised that Ininia has a present! She offered her spells to Custas as a gift, with Restys' permission. Ininia, too, seems to want to use her magic to provide aid, even if that is also coloured by her anger. I'm very, very intrigued by her.
Loroga: It was because of this art that I was not surprised that he came back, but I wasn't expecting to see him so soon after Silver Eve lol. Loroga holds a silver goblet - a fancy drinking vessel for use at celebrations or special occasions. A real silver goblet would be quite expensive, and could be something of a family heirloom, highlighting his familial status.

Live reading the newest witch hat atelier manga chapter (but I know jack shit of japanese and need a translator for it)
i didnt expect the glasses to be back but ughghgh it makes so much sense. now who leaked their existence to the king is a question that we need answers to
"i think we should allow its use" i cant help but think of how hard this question and decision itself weighs on luluci, its something that triggered her deepest trauma and now she needs to think of not its danger, but how it could be used to help people instead of hurting them
"he's being demoted from deputy captain" WHO CHEERED? ME, SUCK MY DICKKKKK
LULUCI PROMOTION RIGHT WHEN MY GOAT IS RETHINKING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A KNIGHT NOOOOO. also very interesting that this seems to confirm that the wise in principles is always a knight moralis. this meant that easthies was in line to the the new wise before his demotion...... girl
"I lack the ability, the experience, and the support of others!" oh luluci :(((
"witches hide the truth of magic from others. but are there witches hiding major secrets from other witches?" with the silverwood in the backgroudddddd MY GOAT STARTING TO DOUBT THE PRINCIPLESSSSS
"The ground beneath my feet, which I thought was solid, suddenly seems pitch-black,like an endless ocean with no bottom in sight..." and Dagda's request :(((
i hope luluci gets her pudding
🏳️🌈?
not the hand exactly where utowin held him against the wall, i know what you are
god im so curious abotu what makes easthies such a ruthless knight. what the fuck happened to you my guy?
"I'm so mad, I'm taking away your pudding! Go clean up your dishes yourself." im crying what is this divorced couple energy they have going on
LULUCI GOT HER PUDDING all is well
"forgive me utowin" gay emo ass
He really hit easthies with "damn bitch you live like this?"
ofc he would choose easthies as his master im CRYING this is either gonna be the funniest shit ever or so disastrous, no in between
IM GRASPING AT STRAWS BUT STILL LOOK HOW SIMILAR THE CAPS ARE
we know that every few years, the caps can change like how baby Qifrey and Riliphins are different, so that might have happened with the Roeton family as well... why else would Loroga go to Easthies if not for the family connection
and im not saying that they are brothers, but maybe cousins or easthies is lorogas uncle or something
also... how tf did Loroga know about Easthies demotion? my guess is through the family...
loroga here, says his name is loroga roenton. ROENTEN, remember that.
here, loroga explains the first diciples, or the first apprentices of the first witches after the pact. the head of the family usually takes on their children as apprentices to continue the legacy. he mentions Agott's family, the Arklaums, but he also mentions another- Roenton.
didn't loroga say his name is Lorgoa ROENTON?
ok. so if his mom or dad or whoever the fuck is head of family is supposed to be his master, why the hell he is asking Easthies to be his master?
either he got booted from the family like Agott (which would be the funniest, most ironic karma in history), or he chose to pick a different master instead.
this could mean actually fucking nothing and im just too obsessed with wha or im onto somthing trust!!
