I'm glad you like them! I tried my best, and I'm pretty proud of how it came out.

Regarding Ari, yeah, I'd say I know her better than even Gojo and Sukuna, but then there are times where I feel like I don't actually know as much as I think I do. There's things she won't tell, and that's fine, I'm okay with that, and I'm glad to simply know her at all. With Night Raven College, though... well, she hasn't really said much. It was kind of vague when she mentioned that she had been there before, and she obviously never mentioned going back. If there was every anything she wanted to tell, she would. Other than that, yeah, she's been pretty secretive about it. But it's best not to overthink these kinds of things. I'm sure that if she ever needs anything from us, she can find a way to contact us and let us know. I mean, Ita's letters found a way there somehow, so it shouldn't be too hard-

Yeah, Ari makes new friends pretty easily, and her relationship with Gojo and Sukuna is certainly... something. I pray for her sanity with those two. As for your words about them... well, yeah. Gojo's a clingy, chaotic man child with a love language of physical touch, acts of service, quality time, and gift giving. Sukuna is very... I'm just gonna be blunt. He's blunt, rude, sarcastic, sadistic, obsessive, maybe a little trigger happy when it comes to certain things... pretty sure his love language (if he would even have one) is quality time or some shit. I don't like him very much, but Ari managed to tame his grumpy ass somehow. I'm not surprised that you don't like either of them. They're certainly a l o t.

I don't think you're overthinking anything. Reading too much into it, maybe, but not really overthinking. Ari, sweetling that she is, really does have a big heart, and that's okay. It's clear that she loves all three of you equally, and I'm glad that she's happy, and I'm even more glad that she has you three there with her, a bunch of chaotics you three may be. But she's strong and perfectly capable of handling anything dangerous that may happen.

I appreciate the reassurance, Fu. I know you'll take good care of her, and I trust you. I'm also honored that you feel comfortable enough with me to vent your frustrations. We're making progress~

8: Who gets jealous easier?

I think it's a mix of both of us, though leaning a little more towards Atem. Despite the fact that he knows how loyal I am to the relationship and how oblivious I am to romantic gestures from strangers or friends, if he sees someone getting a little too close to me and/or making me a bit uncomfortable, he's not gonna be afraid to pull me close to him and/or hold my hand in full view of the persons gaze to throw them off. This mostly happens with complete strangers.

With me, it's not so much jealousy as it is an initial and pretty normal relationship fear. I know he loves me. He takes the time to tell me every day and show me that he does. I'm never worried about this type of thing with friends, but if I see him talking to a random girl, I'm going to get a little worried. Initially, at that moment, I may get a little possessive, but it'd in private that I'm a little pouty and definitely more clingy and affectionate.

16: How do they hype each other up?

So this ties in with the last one a little bit. He knows of my fears and insecurities with relationships. I tell him because I don't want to hide things like that from him. On days where my mind fills with these said insecurities, or just any low or stressful day in general, his way of hyping me up is quality time, words of affirmation, and sometimes even a little gift or two. It's his own little way of making me believe in my capabilities and making me feel better about myself, and trusting in his love for me. Not sure if that counts, but I like to think it does, hehe.

How do I hype up Atem? Definite words of affirmation and affection. Lots of affection. More than usual, if possible. When he felt like he was making no progress in retrieving his memories, whenever he had to make difficult decisions for a duel, and especially after he lost a duel. All of those times were where I needed to find a way to make him feel better, so I do it the same way he does for me. He sometimes tells me that I do a better job, making him feel better than he does to me, which I completely disagree with. But if it works, it works!

6: What quirks do they love about each other?

Ooo this is a bit of a tough one. For me, I think Atem would probably sometimes love how affectionate I am. Hugs, kisses on the cheek, hand holding, all that wholesomness. I doubt he'd be very used to physical affection after so long, so getting him used to it again is a bit of a slow process, but I like to think he'd love the affection. Especially when we're at home and it's just us two.

What quirks I love about Atem? His sassy comebacks and some awkward moments are my favorites, especially during duels or when we're out somewhere. His comebacks are hilarious, and I love his sense of humor. And his awkward moments are adorable to me. When he was still new to learning about how things have changed, there would be some moments where he'd be a little shy in asking me questions about things he was curious about. His curiosity and interest to learn, plus the way his eyes would light up when he learns something new and interesting makes me happy and I love seeing him like that.

17: Who picks flowers for the other?

i believe atem should call you his queen and take you out on nighttime strolls; as you two hold hands and hold each other close. the night is nigh and time seems slower because you two are together and atem wouldn't have it any other way

Nightly walks are always nice, especially when no other people are around. For us, it's nothing but the silence, perhaps a slight breeze, the night sky and moonlight, and each others warmth and company. Stargazing, walking through flower fields at the park or late night dates, it's always a comforting and wonderful experience.

Then again, there's some nights we won't go for walks, and instead, just stay inside. Movie nights, cuddles, reminiscent talks about the past if we're in that sort of mood, maybe even a duel or two. I always lose, but I feel like I'm getting better, hehe~ You didn't hear this from me, but I always try to fluster him to get the upper hand. It works, sometimes~

The pet names, hand holding, and physical affection are ways we show each other our love, though sometimes they're used as tactics to try and fluster the other in order to either get something or tease them. It's cute whenever one of us succeeds~

It was FINALLY a peaceful day in the city. No shadow duels, no tournaments, no evil people. It was just a normal, peaceful day, something that was rare as of late. And, of course, it was a school day. But it was after school that something interesting happens.

Anzu had suggested that they all went to a karaoke bar in order to have some fun and relax. It wasn't often they had days like this. Of course, everyone agreed. However, what Lorelin and Atem didn't know was that this was a plan that Anzu, Yugi, Jonouichi, and Honda had come up with. They were tired of seeing the two be so obvious with their feelings according to everyone else, but completely oblivious to each other. So, they decided that they would pair the two up for a romantic song and hoped that it would do the trick to get them to confess.

And so off they went, the usual bickering happening, mainly between Jonouichi and Honda until they got to the Karaoke bar and rented a room out. And if they saw Atem and Lori walking closer together than normal and enjoying small talk behind them, well... they didn't point it out but they did offer teasing smiles and had them sit next to each other, which may or may not have earned a confused but happy stare and light blush from Atem and a slightly darker blush and flustered stare from Lori. Was she slowly catching onto their plan? Maybe.

Well, catching on or not, everyone decided to go at least twice, one solo and one duo, and if anyone felt a little more bold, maybe a trio. Solo acts were up first, going in the order of Atem first (was Lori flustered? Hell yes), Honda (his surprised everyone because who the hell expects him to do sea shanties? Catchy, though), Jonouichi (his song suits him a lot), Lori (now Atem was flustered, but he hid it pretty well. Did everyone else notice? Yes, they did~), Anzu (YOU GO GIRL!), and Yugi (he did so well, good job, sweetie) went last. Duet wise? The others seemed to have it figured out when they pushed Lori and Atem on stage, much to their confusion.

"I'm so confused. Why are we first-?" Lori asked Anzu, who was going through the song choices.

"Because we said so! Now, just stay there for a minute, okay? I need to find the perfect song for you two!" She answered, lightly shoving the girl back to Atem's side, though Lori stumbled, and he caught her to keep her upright.

"You asked that as if you don't want to sing with me," Atem chuckled, feigning a hurt look as he helped her stand straight. She knew he was joking, but the moment still brought a bright blush to her cheeks.

"O-Of course I do! I-I just didn't expect us to go first, you know-" She stuttered, about to say more before she got cut off by Anzu, who put the song on before either of them could ask what song it was. The familiar start had Lorelin's eyes widening as she fumbled with the microphone, sending a betrayed look to the four in front. Of course they planned this!

She tried to steady her breathing and focus on waiting for her cue to sing since she knew this song and she was going first. This was fine. It's totally fine. She was planning to confess anyway, but not like this! Aaaaaaaaa, she's so nervous! Okay, deep breaths. She's fine. She can do this. She can totally do this. She held the microphone and turned to Atem. 3... 2... 1...

"You, by the light, is the greatest find.." She started singing, capturing his attention while hers was focused on him and on the song. She saw his eyes widen a bit and gave him a shy smile. "In the world full of wrong, you're the thing that's right.. Finally made it, through the lonely to the other side.." He recognized the song now, she knew. She'd shown it to him once before. He held his mic and started to sing with her, his attention still on her too.

"You said it again, my heart's in motion. Every word feels like a shooting star." He gently grabbed her free hand. "I'm at the edge of my emotions, watching the shadows burning in the dark." He gave her a little spin, causing her to release a small giggle that brought out a soft smile from him. "And I'm in love, and I'm terrified," If he didn't realize her feelings from these lyrics, she may very well just do something stupid after the song, like kiss him. That's a maybe. "For the first time, in the last time in my only life..."

The two couldn't seem to hear the cheers of their friends in the background, too focused on the moment and each other. Atem spun her again before pressing a light kiss to her knuckles and letting go of her hand, starting to sing again.

"And this could be good. It's already better than that." He surprised her by pulling her close to him with a smirk. Was he planning something? She couldn't tell. "And nothing's worse than knowing you're holding back!" She started singing with him again, a shy but loving and happy smile on her lips as he spun her again.

"I could be all that you're needing if you let me try!" The two started dancing across the stage a little bit, ignoring the cheers from their friends. "You said it again, my heart's in motion! Every word feels like a shooting star." The way he looked at her as the two sang together and the smiles he sent her as they danced seemingly made the setting just right. "I'm at the edge of my emotions, watching the shadows burning in the dark!" Was this really happening? The answer was pretty obvious as he pulled her close again, the two lost in the moment. Yes, yes, it was. "And I'm in love, and I'm terrified, for the first time and the last time in my only.."

She lifted her free hand and put it on his cheek, watching with a loving smile and light blush as he seemed to lean into her touch, putting his free hand over hers. She took a deep breath before starting to sing again, hearing his voice blend so well with hers in harmony, almost as sweet as honey. "I only said it 'cause I mean it, oh oh, I only mean it 'cause it's true, ah. So don't you doubt what I've been dreaming, 'cause it fills me up and holds me close, whenever I'm without you..." The two pressed their foreheads together before Atem surprised her with a light kiss on the cheek. Her cheeks turned red while her eyes widened, and she caught the same brush across his cheeks as he chuckled at her expression.

She quickly composed herself and went back to singing, not able to hide her large smile or contain her giggles whenever he spun her around like she was a princess. "You said it again, my heart's in motion! Every word feels like a shooting star..." Maybe he did feel the same way she did about him. This was only proving her point more. "Watching the shadows burning in the dark.. and I'm in love.. and I'm terrified for the first time, in the last time in my only life! Life! Life! In my only.. life.."

As soon as the songs ended, Lori barely had any time to catch her breath before Atem twirled her one last time and pulled her in for a kiss. It shocked her, but she reacted quickly enough and kissed him back amongst the now very loud cheers of their friends. They stayed that way for a minute before pulling back. "Well! That was.. unexpected. A good unexpected though, heh.. I love you, Atem," Lori confessed, her cheeks becoming a bit of a darker red. Atem smiled at her with a matching red across his skin.

"So I've learned from this song," he said with a light chuckle. "I love you too, Lorelin." He hugged her close to him, glancing toward Yugi, who sent him a thumbs up and a wink.

"Finally! We've been waitin' for you two to confess, it's about time!" Jonouichi laughed, catching the two's attention as they went to walk off the stage. Lorelin fondly rolled her eyes at him.

"Yeah, yeah, as if you four didn't plan this, Jonou-kun. Yes, I figured it out when the song started, don't act surprised with me, mister," she teased, waving her finger at him when he tried to act surprised and deny it.

Sensing a possible teasing argument, Yugi quickly got up and grabbed Anzu's hand, dragging her to the stage so they could go next. This calmed everyone else down pretty quickly, and the rest of the time flew by. Honda did a duet with Anzu after her and Yugi went, followed by Yugi and Jonouichi, and then Yugi and Atem. All in all, everyone had a lot of fun, and a new relationship was even born due to it.

It always makes her so happy to see him doing so well. He's worked so hard to get this far, and she couldn't be more proud of him.

Even when she sometimes has to remind him to take breaks or rest when he overworks himself, Lori never fails to tell him how proud she is. The smiles she gets in return always brighten her day and even make her heart race. In return, she always strives to work even harder to help him continue to succeed.

She ends up overworking herself sometimes. When she does, he's always there to remind her to rest, like she does for him. These sentimental moments only serve to deepen their bond and develop their relationship. They work well together, and if anyone ever sees them looking like more than friends, they don't say anything. For all they know, these two childhood friends were always like that. Maybe that's why they work so well together.
