This picture taken at RockCut Brewing in Colorado gave me all the beer and hiking vibes I am craving this morning. This brewery is minutes away from the Stanley Hotel, and well, with having seen the love show of Lore the other night, I am still on my high from meeting the podcaster/author himself. I loved this brewery because it was by the river. I sat outside, enjoyed a brew, and took in the sounds and the colorado air. I know I’m a little behind, but I just finished this season’s exploration of the Salem Witch Trials on Aaron Mahnke’s ‘Obscured’ podcast, and I loved it. I thought I knew everything about that period already -- but there’s always more to the story.
We’re big fans of Mr. Mahnke’s work here at D&S, especially on his first podcast, ‘Lore’. If you love fairytales, folklore, and history, and haven’t checked it out yet, do yourself a favor; it’s just the thing to curl up with beneath the blankets on these long, cold winter nights.

The first episode of Lore (an amazing podcast on all things folklore and creepy) is up on Amazon Prime and I couldn’t be more thrilled! What a good Friday the 13th!

I get to work on the LORE podcast book series, both cover and a bunch of interior art. I've been a fan of the podcast for a while so getting to work on the books is a pretty neat deal.
Book 1 will come out this October just in time to be a companion to the TV series.
