Some people use plastic or metal but I recommended colored or opaque glass to reduce any possible deterioration of either the metal or the plastic. Another reason you want to ensure that your essential oils are stored properly is because the cost of essential oils can be costly. This ensures that you are getting the longest shelve life of your essential oils which do expire. There are some essential oils that do age well but as natural substances do break down.
