Karin-chan, but as a baby. Not only she was adorable and playful, but also got into a lot of troubles.

Another birthday drawing I made for a friend on discord a couple days ago. It admittedly caught me by surprise a bit, but I wanted to try to quickly throw something together for them cause they've been super nice. Also, their character is very cute ^//u//^

Giftart for a friend's birthday :3 Their birthday had actually caught me by surprise though, so I threw together something really quick for them and to "spice" it up a little, I added some cinnamon sticks into the background (it makes sense in context, I promise) uwu"

A series of drawings I made to celebrate Halloween involving several my friends' characters. I was inspired by this song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEGbIpD6wNo. Which I used as a basis to make a little story. And finally the last picture of the series, ending it off on an ominious, unsettling note. Scary, scary stuff indeed, hehe. And oh my gosh, talking about scary and nerve-wracking, this picture was such a pain for me to draw and for frankly one single reason. It was super hard for me to figure out how to draw a character being looked down at from above. I know that it requires a degree of foreshortening to achieve the desired effect and I even looked up a couple reference pictures and tutorials to figure out how to do it, but even still, I'm not really satisfied with how it came out. It just, ugh, it looks so wrong and stilted and I think the body and limbs are too think and even though I know they're suppossed to be foreshortened to an extent, I still can't shake the feeling that I really, really messed this up and can't even properly explain to myself how. I mean, at the very least, I guess I'm happy I was at least willing to try to do it, right? Well anyway, if you could or couldn't tell, the ominious shadow overlooking our cute liitle puppy here is the same silouette from the previous drawing, a mysterious, frightening figure begining to emerge from the shadows!

I was inspired by this song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEGbIpD6wNo. Which I used as a basis to make a little story. Now we have the ominious windy scene. Truthfully, I'm not exactly sure what I intended all those pencil marks and such around the character to be exactly other than just a general sense of "darkness". But I rliked how it was coming along and just decided to roll with it. Having the darker marks within the mess helps to point the view up, as if it show there's some king of geyser of darkness shooting up towards the sky and they're just caught in its area of effect. If you look closely at it, you can still the indivisual strokes of the pencil that I was making and I actually like that effect. For some reason, it helps it feel more natural to me, it gives it a human touch of error. Well that, or maybe I'm just excusing my own laziness. Also, looking at this little character again, I don't think I did such a good job drawing their body, something about them just doesn't feel right to me.
