(May be tmi for some people so proceed with caution) So this morning I weighed myself right when I woke up after going to the bathroom and I was almost 8lbs over my normal weight. I was really frustrated, since I hadn't been tracking my calories I had nothing to compare or "justify" this weight gain with. So I decided I'd go back to counting calories. But then I weighed myself an hour later, after a run, a big breakfast and a huge dump, and I'd lost 5lbs, so really how accurate is the scale? Also I tracked my food today, and immediately I noticed an unhealthy shift with how I viewed food, no longer listening to my body but following the numbers. Even though my "weight gain" isn't that drastic, I do think I need some way to measure my progress and keep myself on track. So I'm going to track my food but only at the end of the day, and try to focus on eating intuitively and seeing how well I can hit my macros just by estimating. And then if it doesn't work out perfectly, tomorrows a new day and I will improve it then. I'm also going to take weekly measurements. I had my physics final today and I'm pretty sure I got a 100 on it! And I finished the course with a 98!! So pretty pumped about that. Tomorrow my real vacation starts so I'm going to sleep in for once in my life :) Wow this was really long and disjointed but its midnight and im tired. Whooooopsssiiees
