These lipsticks can be bought at Ulta (which is where I purchased all of mine) for $3 each, though Ulta usually has sales where you can get them for even cheaper! 

These are the only lipsticks that I have tried from Essence, and I am honestly in love. I should buy them in every color. To start with, the formula on these is wonderful. Each color glides on very smoothy and they’re all extremely opaque. I have no problems with streaking or skipping. 

They are also very comfortable in wear, and have a fairly creamy finish. Because of this, they are not food-proof. I wear this lipstick with a linliner, and it does make it through my lunch, but barely. It definitely needs a touch up after any meals. But that is the price we pay for having such a comfortable lipstick.  

There is a slight artificial scent there, but it doesn’t transfer to the lips and fades quickly. These lipsticks also don’t have a bad taste or anything. 

These lipsticks are all a cream finish, but lean more towards the a matte/semi-matte finish, and will dry down to a matte after an hour or two of wear.

The packing on these lipsticks is also adorable! I really like the black, semi-matte tube that it comes it. Each lipstick has a tiny band of color around it that coordinates with the color of lipstick inside, which is very cute. They also don’t crack or break when I drop them, and have never opened by themselves in my purse.

I cannot recommend these lipsticks enough. For the price, they have a very high quality feel and the wear time on them isn’t bad at all. They have quickly become one of my favorite lipstick lines.

1) 14 - Adorable Matt!: Really interesting red! Very cool undertones, leans a bit brown on me (but not too much!)

2) 9 - Wear Berries: The perfect fall color. A great choice if you’re not sure about purple lipsticks, but want to slowly get into them.

3) 10 - Cotton Candy: Little bit too light for my complexion, but a pretty color.
