You won’t believe how much I am longing for the daffodils to come up and show their pretty, cheerful, yellow faces like in this photo taken in my garden last year. I have planted plenty of new daffodils last autumn and hope that some from the year before have naturalized and come up, again. Unfortunately, so far I have only a few green leave tips showing that I can count on one hand and not a single flower bud in sight, yet. Will the other daffs emerge? Will they bloom? Do I have a crop fail? Anxious thoughts of a still relatively new Central Texas gardener. I am curious to know if you have daffodils planted in your garden and where you are on the spectrum of: „my daffs are blooming already“ to „they are a complete no show up to now“? Please share where you live and if you know, your climate zone as well. That way we can compare. Maybe that will be fun? I am in climate zone 8b, by the way! #daffodils #daffodil #organicgardendreams #inmygarden #austingardener #centraltexasgardener #gardening #organicgardening #garden #organicgardener #longingforspring #yellowflowers #yellowtrumpet #yellowtrumpetdaffodil #yellowtrumpetdaffodils #liveoak #ilovemygarden #waitingforspring #centraltexasgardening #gardens (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CaXE02ku6Rg/?utm_medium=tumblr
