And when she faced it, she asked why her life had to be torn apart like that. Why had she become an orphan, a widow, a mother of a child with no resemblance of her. She asked what had she done to deserve hell. And it replied that she wasnt in hell, of course. She was alive, she had a place to be, she had friends, but still, it understood what she meant. So it decided to make it up to her. She would never reach heaven, neither could God Itself, so the greatest gift it could give her was a hell of her own control. A realm, a place where she could grief as much as she could without judgement. She asked why, how would it even help her situation. Why had she to become the devil. It explained that there was no such thing as the devil, and even, it wasnt sure if its gift was actually hell. It held her hand and guided her and the child to an empty place with nothing but water where she could only see the scars of the incident that left her a widow. She looked at it, then at the water, then at it. There was nothing. It told her that she and others had been dead for a while, that anything that could be a god had been destroyed long ago, the apocalypse had already happened but for some reason, they were all still there. In the nothing of the universe, in small bubbles and pockets of reality. It said that maybe all those cruel gods had actually loved them all in the end, for they had sacrificed their own existence to keep their creations in the world, even if their bodies decayed, they could always be put back together. Which was her case and its case. Now that she knew, she could make whatever she wished with the knowledge and the power of knowing all laws didnt matter in the end. She said she only wanted a life, freedom, the love of her life. She asked if there was not a hell, heaven and maybe not even a place in between, where had her family and husband gone. It looked at her one last time. They are nowhere, it said, nowhere to exist or be found, but if nothing existed anymore, it also meant they were everywhere. It left, and she looked at her reflection again. And as the light of the closest thing to god faded, she realized where her loved ones were. Where everyone was, and she felt everyone, since everyone was everywhere, she was also everyone. So she walked back home and hugged a priest, a beloved friend she knew would be thrilled to see god, to see the true meaning of being all a part of it, and everything. And when it happened, there was nothing. They were flesh again, flesh, water, and a counciousness that shouldnt have existed, but it was there, like everything, as the hive mind grew, everyone could see, and everyone could make their own conclusion of it, but it was still her little kingdom, and she had become like god, and god saw as its late wife became an illness, the most beautiful and great of them all. Should it feel guilty for creating the apocalypse for the creatures the god it had prayed for in life had saved with so much effort? No, they all knew now, they all were one now. They all could reach heaven, the heaven of homosapien, nothing but pure knowledge circling and learning from itself.
Snuejdjssksujekahdiahdka I wanted to write a bit of my ocs, since I remembered I created one of them (the female protagonist, who is named Beatriz) inspired by that There is Nothing dinner video :]
I know this will very likely flop but anyway, have a little drawing.
