Hence he needs to read

Lately there’s so much tragedies in the world so he decided to read a bit of angsty stories so he can enrich his knowledge of how to deliver a sad story

But Clark didn’t considered he had a chicken heart, it’s not even heavy angst and he already feels like crying

It may be the building up to the tragedy and knowing how to predict situations he was feeling bad even before the bad things happened

/phone call

Lois sleepy: Clark?

Clark whinning : *sniff* Lois-

Lois: Clark! Are you ok? What happened

Clark: the girl is going to die

Lois: WHAT? What girl?!

Clark: the girl with the matches, I was reading tragic classics and just a few paragraphs in I already knew the ending

Lois: dude don’t ever again do that! You gave me a heart attack!

Clark: she just wanted to sell matches to be able to eat, Lois

Lois: yeah I know the story

Clark: she just wanted to feel some warm

Lois: you called me in the middle of the night to ramble about a child’s story?

Clark saying something incomprensible among sobbing

Lois: I’m going to hang up

There's this thing about the Italian dubbing of "Man of steel" that never fails to make me laugh!

You know the part when Lois asks Clark about the "S", and he answers that it is a symbol that stands for hope.

Well, in Italian the word "Hope" is translated as "Speranza".

And my extremely damaged brain, decided that this is hilarious, so everytime I watch that scene, I can't help but burst into laughter!

Where you can really see the immense love this man has for Clark, and he's not ashamed of it, it's the most natural thing in the world. He would introduce him by saying, “This is my beloved, Clark.”

And Clark would get weak in the knees every single time. He would never get used to it and would appreciate every single time Bruce said it.

And I know it's not canon, but I'd like to see Bruce use this endearment precisely because his parents called each other that and he has fond memories of it.

And then Clark would start to use it too, because no other term of endearment seems adequate enough to express what he feels.

(Yeah, I can see Bruce going to the Daily Planet and calling Clark “My beloved” and Lois wouldn't even be able to tease him about it because he would say it with such seriousness and affection that there would be nothing to laugh about.)

Like in 2025 movie it’s been a few months since he start to date Lois and he already spill the beans about his secret identity and enter to her apartment to cook

Or 1978 he just presented Superman to the public and he waisted no time to see Lois in person for an “interview” and take her to fly around to impress her, even day one as Clark he accompanied her to walk home
