Send 🏠 for my muse to talk about an aspect of their home and/or neighbourhood.

Shelley is an awfully private person in general so when asked to talk about any part of his home, he just...stands there like a deer in the headlights for a moment. There's simultaneously much to talk about and also nothing to talk about. Eventually he goes over to his desk and holds up a jar.

"Do you want to see my algae balls?"

He finishes his beer. Slaps the empty glass down and leans forward in the booth to finish his story.

"So that's how it ended- with a bullet in the bicep and a five-hundred dollar hospital bill because of where I was. And yes, I'm STILL pissed off about it." Josh shakes his head grin-grimacing. "Thankfully, I had enough cash left from robbing the sex shop I was able to settle on the spot and walk out."

Rocksteady shrugs. As it stands, he is lost in a different universe. How? It's complicated. Too complicated that this moron could properly explain it anyway. His enormous height can't really fool anyone from the fact that he is a little distressed right now. "Uh listen... I'm just lookin' for my pal. He's, uh, he's a war thog. Brown fur, purple mohawk... you really can't miss him."

Meia looked at the humanoid Rhinoceros man with a bit of confusion briefly. She even quietly getting her ocular implants to do a brief system check before she managed an answer. Honestly, she was a little stuck on what a War Thog was, and that Rocksteady's aura showed signs he was once human.

"...I'm not entirely certain what a War Thog is, and I haven't seen anyone who looks like that yet today, but my brother and I do run a private investigation office." She glanced back to her brother, who was returning with his coffee and a suspicious stare directed at Rocksteady, "We could take on helping you locate him. If you're alright with that?"

Even if she made the offer, Enzo had more the final say here since they had just gotten off an overnight job. His usual attitude and temper when he was tired was also something she had to worry about cooling. She was also worried she or Enzo might offend this man if they asked the wrong questions.

Enzo sipped his coffee as he returned to his sisters side, still maintaining that stare at Rocksteady. He only looked away to check his phone when it pinged with a couple alerts. Non-human visitors weren't uncommon in Eden, but still rare enough that the forums chattered a lot depending on the layer of the city they were seen in.

"...What's the problem, now?" His tone seemed unimpressed somewhat, as his gaze that returned to Rocksteady once he was close seemed to be more sizing the Rhinoceros man up now. However, there wasn't any lasting fire behind it as he closed his eyes when Meia quickly whispered Rocksteady's issue to him.

"So, I've never heard of a War Thog, but we could do a street camera sweep to try and find your friend. If you know about where you lost him we could start with accessing the security node there." Again his phone let off a little alert and he glanced at the screen, before turning it to vibrate while sliding it back into his pocket.

"What can I do for you?" Pomona is calling out to the man who just entered his shop just a few moments ago. A repair shop of sorts that held various parts for various things; from parts to vehicles to simple electronics to those who don't know better, but a known inventor and collector who will go a little out of his way to get people certain things they need to the few that do know better. Though he doesn't specialize in weapons. In fact, Pomona would never go out to obtain one in general for anyone either.

Will they get you parts you might need to make one? Maybe, but they're not particularly interested in delivering actual weapons to people's doors. Parts, certain forms of jewelry, and generally hard things to obtain are his specialty. Anything he thinks might result in someone's death, however, are something Pomona would prefer to avoid.

Thought, learning and intellect headcanon asks for muses

When it comes to knowledge and understanding, Svern continually re-evaluates in the background as he encounters new information, situations, people, etc. He knows that even the brightest genius isn't infallible, because there's always going to be the potential for some new piece of info or other perspective to come along and change something, whether in a big or small way; and the arrogance of someone who's self-assured in their knowledge and who excludes themselves from further learning often leads to them making a fool of themselves sooner or later, or sometimes to greater failings.

When it comes to his broader philosophy and how he approaches the world, especially in regard to other people, that's when his mindset starts to stagnate. Svern settled on a particular way of viewing life a while ago, and unless something drastic comes along and forces a change, he rarely sees a need to update it. His mindset is "bulletproofed" by accepting adaptability and flexibility towards anything intellectual, and taking a cynical yet lackadaisical approach to everything else. If it really matters, he'll incorporate it... but being a nihilist prone to apathy means he often doesn't care or isn't bothered enough to do so. Other people can have their mindsets; he has his own; he doesn't mind disagreeing or being disagreed with.

He's very much capable of being introspective. He used to spend a lot of time thinking, and still does. Most of the time, though, he's already got answers for the questions he might ask, or some loophole by which to handle them, and thinking on things like that rarely brings him much fulfilment now.
