Reading about so much toxicity in the fandom lately (including Louis' tweets about it), was it this bad during Louis' or Harry's other stunts?? I mean, people offering to k*ll Larries?! I mean, damn. At the end of the day, is it really THAT serious?
I'm as charmed by Larry as anyone. Larry is a huge reason that I'm a 1D fan and a L & H solo fan, I'll admit. But I'd like to think I'd still be a fan even if they announced tomorrow that Larry was never a thing. This is my first stunt and it makes me a little queasy to see L&Z together. But not so much that I'm going off the deep end. If all the other stunts/beard were this bad (read a bit about how bad Holivia was), how are there even any Larries left? Lol.
Seriously, this one appears to really be hurting Louis' reputation/popularity. But I have nothing to compare it to. Is it worse than ones in the past?
I think the problem for Louis is that such a big percentage of his fans are new and have only known him to be single. They weren’t here during Eleanor or Danielle. And they believe Freddie is actually his kid. So, of course, they’re going to believe he’s actually dating Zara.
Elounor was awful the first time around because you could see how painful it was for both Harry and Louis. Danielle was mostly a joke, but people were so upset about babygate at the time, so that really overshadowed everything. Eleanor the serving time was extremely upsetting at first, but then we realized that she was just being paid to hang out in the background. It was nothing. Sofie was a total joke. And she only lasted five minutes.
So, I guess Zara seems extreme because most fans haven’t had to deal with this stuff. But it’s kind of a big whatever as far as I’m covered.

*There was a 11 year old girl walking around, the girl had messy brown hair that had bright cyan highlights and that faded into a cherry sorta color, she wore a bright purple and gray striped shirt, purple pants that seemed a bit small on the girl and she had scrapes on her feet, she also had a pretty big backpack that was dragging across the ground while the girl wore it that’s how big it was, she was also holding a cardboard rocket ship underneath her arms, along with a cardboard heart shaped gravestone with lots of cute stuff all over it and a big cardboard graduation hat that was almost bigger than her head! She also had what looked like a stage used for concerts made out of cardboard like everything else was, she also had a cardboard pink cassette player and a cardboard purple top hat with a yellow stripe just above the brim, anyone gonna talk to her? She seems lonely*
