The break-up with Stefan had been quite hard on her. The blonde had known that she wasn’t for longterm relationships but it had been different with him. He had meant so much to her, she had slowly thought of a future with him and Flo. But then out of the blue, he cut it off. He told her that he couldn’t do it anymore. She hadn’t seen him since. The days had been the same for Jamie over and over after that. Sleep, breakfast, work, dinner, watch a movie alone on the couch, and sleep again. And it would start all over again the next day. She would fit in doing groceries as well whenever needed and today was one of those days. Little had she known that today was the day that she would see Stefan again. In the middle of the aisle of the supermarket. Jamie stopped in her tracks as she watched him standing there. “I definitely didn’t expect to see you here.”

It wasn’t every single day that Valentin Remington was bored out of his mind. But he was in a mood-a mood where he must mess with someone. And that someone just so happens to be his favorite witch, Stefan. He was just bored, he had nothing else do to...until he fixed himself a drink and gave him a huge smile when he did see him. “Ssssstefan!” he said with a huge smile on his face, taking a swig of his drink. “How are you, hm? Come, let me get you a drink!”

“What? You...never seemed to have a problem with them before. What’s made you change your mind?” 

She wasn’t who she used to be. And he knew that. He blamed himself for that, just as she did, and he wished more than anything that he could fix it for her – but the truth of the matter was that there was nothing he could do. Things couldn’t go back to what it used to be for her, but he desperately wished it could go back to what it used to be for them. He missed her, and selfishly wanted her back in his life. “Belle, I know this is all my fault but please, give me another chance. Give us another chance. I miss you.”

“Another chance?” Belle stared at him, mostly out of pure disbelief in the way this was all being handled. Her whole life had been leading to certain moments, and because of their stupid mistake years ago, she couldn’t be that person anymore, no matter how hard she tried. “It’s not that I don’t miss you too Stefan—but...how could I just...go back to that—to us?” Maybe she had gotten so far away from it that revisiting it was too hard, but as she looked to the other, frown forming across her face, she knew she was full of second chances. “We were doomed from the start.”

Mary walked around the grounds of the castle. It was early spring, one of her favourite times of year. The blossoms were blooming, the birds were singing. It was starting to warm again. Mary loved everything about Spring.

As she walked with Greer, the young Queen smiled, as her eyes fell on Conde. She smiled and bowed her head lightly, offering a hello, and hoping he may take it as an invite to walk over and join her. She did enjoy his company, he challenged her in so many ways.

When Jamie had walked into her ex earlier that week AND he had asked her on a date, she hadn’t exactly known what to do. Stefan had come to the front of her mind nearly straight away. The man that brought so many feelings into her life but also a man she wasn’t sure of that she could wait for him until he was finally ready. The fact that they had been sleeping together once again was a thing that didn’t make the situation any easier on them. So eventually she had chosen to go on that date with her ex.

Little did Jamie know that Stefan had seen them. If she had known, then it would have made a lot more sense on why he was suddenly standing in front of her apartment when she had not expected him that day at all. A questioning look was on her face as she watched the man in front of her. “Stefan? What are you doing here? Did I forget that we would meet up today?”
