Dernières fêtes entre amis et derniers moments en famille... Comme toutes les bonnes choses, elles passent beaucoup trop vite !

Local.ch - The First Year on Rails
local.ch went live with Rails in March 2012. As with any new technology stack, handling high traffic, not everything went smoothly. Jeremy Seitz, lead engineer on the local.ch website, shares stories, experiences and lessons learned on bringing one of the most popular websites in Switzerland to Rails.

local.ch bought Localina.com
This week my spin-off company of Astina in the field of reservation management (Localina), was taken over by local.ch Ltd. Since February 2011 the whole Astina team with the lead developer Vasco were working hard on this company's idea and technology and we are very happy that we found this joint-venture of Swisscom und PubliGroupe. Synergies within the sales force and the lead conversion tools will bring this system to a new level.
