Using Inkarnate map maker, I tried to do a basic design of Llyth. So far this is what I have!
Llyth is a country divided in two halves: flush and thriving forests, and barren, mountainous tundras. Many ships have crashed upward of the tundra as the terrain within its waters is rugged, more unpredictable, and nearly impossible to navigate, hence the natural canal with its bridge connecting the norther and southern halves of Llyth for shipments, general travel, etc. Considering the dangers of the north, it has less protection and fewer outposts compared to the south where most Human raids come, as, rather frequently, the northern waters’ terrain is considered more defense than any Vampires could provide against invaders. Villages, being nearer to shores, have more outposts and watchtowers for protection and first-notice against raiders. The main city, also titled Llyth, sits far inland with thick walls and many watchtowers. This is home to most of Llyth’s population because it provides more protection than any other location on the continent.
