Starter with Siebren in his Fable 3 verse, before his accident.
It was not every day that Siebren took the time to leave his workplace and put in the effort to visit Albion's mainland. This, however, was the seizing of a rare opportunity, to meet the father of the modern age, Ernest Faraday. There had been a great many stories of his work, and he'd had the pleasure of having a correspondence with him about seeing his newest creations in person. Who would pass up a chance such as that? The spectacle he had built Clockwork Island into was little more than an amusement park to the average visitor, but it held so much more. Such potential was wrapped up and showcased to thousands on this one island, all made possible by one man. If anything, it was a demo, a demo Siebren couldn't help but be more than a little excited to have a look behind the curtains of.
He'd known Professor Faraday and read his works and the news of his various achievements. He also knew the man to be one of the most inventive people in this kingdom. There would always be another idea popping into his mind, which he'd have to be sure to note down. He was an awfully sweet and a bit idealistic or even naive man, and he was brilliant, though a little busy at the moment.
With Faraday having run off to do whatever errands he'd hurriedly bumbled out as he left Siebren on his own, there was little choice other than stay put or snoop around his workshop. Thinking he was on his own and seeing no harm in doing exactly what he'd been invited to a little bit ahead of time and without guidance, Siebren naturally chose the latter. Thinking he was alone unfortunately also left him blinking in surprise when he ran into someone not soon after he'd begun to venture off. It was a petite someone, and he was certain his presence was just as much a surprise to her as hers had been to him.
He wasn't known among those he interacted with to be the most social man, but he at least had some manners. Once his surprise subsided, he gave a modest bow.
"My apologies. I didn't mean to surprise you."
After that, he offered out one hand, still in his light bow, but now meeting the woman's eyes. "Professor Faraday neglected to inform me that he had an assistant in today. I am Dr. De Kuiper. Pleased to meet you."
Shooting a playful smile, he added, "I do hope the good professor hasn't failed to warn you of my arrival."
