Retreats.
Retreats are designed to promote faith in a setting outside of the classroom. These retreats vary from community service, practice of prayer, and learning to grow in your own personal faith along with your classmates. These retreats also help students grow together and develop into a family.
In my senior year, I participated in the retreat called Kairos. Kairos is a 4 day retreat that schools and churches participate in nationwide. It is a retreat specifically designed for seniors in high school and it is kept secret until you arrive at the retreat center. Kairos is a moving experience. It allows you to view life in a different perspective and see God in all things. Kairos also allows you to became more compassionate towards others and yourself by realizing the unconditional love that surrounds you. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to partake in Kairos LVIII and I wish everyone could experience God moving in our lives every day.
