It wouldn't surprise me. Kind of a cheap way to free her up for Leith. However, if she suddenly had four children in her charge, there'd be a lot of chaos.

I would say Castleroy, but he isn’t a major character. Francis dies. Nostradamus said that Narcisse would die. Bash or Kenna can be it.

Whoa. Nostradamus predicted Narcisse's death? When did that happen? Not that he's been very reliable, but still ...

Kinda interesting that no major character has been ill or had a near death injury this season, even with the plague. It's not like medicine was top-notch at the time and they don't have Nostradamus for any miracle cures. Having someone die simply due to the age they're living in would almost be nice.

Yep. Why did it even have to be someone Mary knew to believe Nostradamus' prophecy? Or a death at all?

I don't think Bash is the brother to get married. But I do think we'll get some pretty heavy emotion talk between him and Mary

Obviously not. Sad face. But I do agree, I think we will get some very genuine emotional responses from both Mary and Bash as this sad little love story plays itself into the end of it's first act. Because that's exactly what it is. And if I'm honest, that's one of the little things I'm most looking forward to. The angst that is going to undoubtedly surround Mash in this episode and the ones to come.

Hm, interesting theory. Francis is hot-headed, and stubborn and at the moment he seems to find it very difficult to see the good in Bash's intentions for agreeing to Mary's plan to legitimize him and strip him of his inheritance to save his life. I'm not sure I can truly see this happening though. Although I am sure Francis could easily find himself in a position to do such, I just don't think he will. And even so I doubt Bash would abide.

Awe, you made me sad. Ah, but angst is definitely going to be heavy in this episode, so I'm very prepared for that. I think Mary realizing she loves Bash will be beautiful and sad all at once. I honestly don't believe she will tell him either, which only makes it more heartbreaking. If we get a tearful goodbye kiss for Mash, I may turn into a puddle of water.

Predictions 2.1 well i will say that Bash and Mary r going in their separate ways at least for a little while. In the meantime Mary will discover the Frola thing and she will start missing the action passion adventure and freedom that she used to have with Bash so she will miss Bash really hard and possible Mash sex scene soon

Definitely going their separate ways, but I'm sure they will begin to cross paths again very soon. I agree, Mary is definitely headed in the direction of the Frola discovery, and I'm looking forward to see how all parties involved handle it. Personally hoping Lola doesn't take the blunt of the blame, since as I have said before, Francis instigated it and the sex couldn't have happened without the help of Francis' disco stick. So...yeah. ;) Mary, I think, will definitely find herself feeling the loss of Bash's presence in her life and how different things were between her and Bash compared to her and Francis. I don't expect Mary and Francis' path as husband and wife to be anything but bumpy, as it should be.  I'm still holding out that hope that Mary and Bash can have their special moment before things come to a complete halt between them. So, whether we get Mash sex or not all depends on 1x13. [crosses everything]

Dauphin is a title - the first in line to be the king. de Portiers - it’s Sebastian’s current surname (his mother’s).
