why episode 14 ? you have the press release ? anyway I feel your pain ...I'm so so so sad and mad...I love Bash so fucking much and it was too much for me to handle !!! I knew M would choose F but it stil freakin' hurt like hell !!! so hug please ? I need one...
Yes, yes hugs all around! After watching episode thirteen I just found myself disappointed with the overall episode, and pacing. What they put Bash through was really difficult to watch, and honestly, making him watch the consummation was just cruel and unnecessary to be honest. Henry was just trying to imprint the idea to Bash that he could never have Mary and if he did, he would be punished. Clearly. Because Henry wants all the power he can get, and now with Frary wed he has it just within his grasp. I see it driving him mad eventually.
The episode was really tough on us Bash fans, but I have no doubt he is going to prevail. Bash is resilient and a fighter. He has fought all his life, and is a lot smarter than most give him credit for. He may be bastard born, but he grew up at court, he saw everything and learned more. He knows how to handle himself. As for what happened between him and Mary, it’s really heartbreaking. Torrance absolutely slayed his scenes, and I just wanted to curl up in the floor and sob for Bash. But Bash, he accepted Mary’s decision and the harsh reality of his fate after she chose Francis. He won’t let it bring him down, because he has to survive.
Ultimately though, to answer your question since I’ve seemingly veered off course. I am excited for episode fourteen, and all those that will follow because we’re FINALLY past that god forsaken wedding. We can finally move on to better, more interesting stories. And I am VERY excited for Torrance and his character Bash. I am looking forward to seeing a darker side of Bash, a rougher side, and definitely him outdoors and dealing with whatever is out in the woods. Super interesting! And of course, trying to convince Mary that Francis isn’t the man she believes him to be, because not all is what it seems in the land of Frary. So in that regard, I am ready. Let the cracks begin to show.
