"Who first?" Jalen almost demanded, excitedly. He earned a low chuckle from Lithran who perched on the table, taking his arrows out.

"Go ahead, I'll check mine. Let's see what you've got!" he added as a teasing challenge, lip curling upwards on one side in an uncharacteristically fun sort of expression.

Now Jalen's expression spread into a wide grin as he sauntered his way to a spot where the straw on the floor was slightly cleared, where he guessed Lithran usually stood to take his shots. Angling his body, he narrowed his eyes to slits, expression becoming momentarily more serious as he got tunnel vision for his target and loosed his first arrow, which flew straight and true with a satisfying thud right into the centre of the target. As soon as the arrow landed its mark, Jalen grinned again, this time even wider, and shooting a triumphant look over at Lithran, who in return smirked, this time more obviously, a dimple showing in his cheek.

"Not bad at all." he commented, now finished checking his arrows.

"Not bad? That was a great shot!" Jalen declared in retort, still grinning. But he was a learner, and so after knocking his next arrow, he looked back at the taller archer again. "Pointers?" he asked with a smaller smile.

Lithran paused for a moment, then still smirking he rose to his feet, rolling his sleeves up and gesturing for Jalen to pull his bow, and let Lithran see his stance. Now with a prospective teacher behind him, Jalen immdeiately concentrated more on the specifics he knew of a good posture, bending his elbow more than he had before, bringing the feather of the arrow up to his jaw.

Stepping up close, using careful gestures so as not to startle him, Lithran adjusted his elbow so the feather brushed his ear. "There...adjust your front arm, you know what you're doing, look straight down the shaft..."

His breath tickled against Jalen's ear, but he was focused, and with a more powerful shot, once again, the arrow landed near perfectly and he grinned widely, turning to look at Lithran, lips curved into a proud smile, looking for approval, even though he knew he had done well. Lithran however was momentarily stumped, as the other elf turned his head, and all of a sudden, even being taller than him, heir faces were extremely close, and Lithran's eyebrows raised as he became somewhat transfixed by the hairpin curl at the side of Jalen's mouth, and the bright determination in his eyes. Jalen continued to stare, merely wondering why Lithran said nothing, until the taller elf very slightly closed the gap between their faces.

Undeniably, he froze up, but didn't pull away. After what to him felt like an agonisingly long pause, Lithran closed the gap between them, brushing his slightly chapped lips very hesitantly against Jalens, before then pressing his mouth fully in to kiss the other archer. In the split second before the kiss deepened, Jalen's eyes went wide in sheer surprise, but as the other mans mouth pressed fully over his, a little switch that had no filter flicked in his head, and after a moment where the shorter haired elf tilted his head to mould their mouths closer, he turned his body to face Lithran's, rising on his toes to equal their height as he kissed him back, surprising Lithran with his enthusiasm. Lithran's arms looped around Jalen's back and pressed their chests together, and just as Jalen's hand had found the back of Lithran's jaw to keep their mouths close, Lithran pulled back, eyes bright, looking intently down at the other man for any signs of upset or displeasure. Finding none, a small smile of relief crossed his face, but in this time, Jalen had formed a small pout on his face, and with a surprising yet altogether welcome fervour, he slipped his hand to the back of Lithran's head and pulled him closer, abandoning caution to the wind and his bow to the ground as his other hand cupped Lithran's face.
