Kerry Katona says that she undergoes liposuction so regularly now that’s it’s just like ‘having an eye test’.

The 36-year-old underwent the fat removing procedure earlier this week, tweeting that she’d had a ‘sh*t load of lipo’.

She went on to say that she was also recovering from her second tummy tuck, asking people not to judge her for having plastic surgery.

“Well I’ve been recovering from having a s**t load of lipo!! #dontjudge!! 5 kids and all!! And a mini tummy tuck! Just a kick up the arse x”

“It’s like going for an eye test these days! How very showbiz.”

She recently defended her decision to have surgery to OK! magazine, saying: “I just want to feel good and happy. I’m having some liposuction at the Belvedere Clinic in Kent very soon."

The Mum-of-five has previously said that she didn’t feel confident about her body after having so many children.

Previously, she admitted to forking out £15,000 on various surgeries back in 2008.

Speaking about her original tummy tuck at the time, she said: “No matter how much weight I lost, I couldn’t get rid of a pocket of skin that hung like a kangaroo pouch.”

Kerry added that she was keen to get in shape ahead of Atomic Kitten’s forthcoming tour of Australia.

The reality star joked that she "didn't want to be the fat cat in the kittens" and that she couldn’t wait to get back down the gym.

BODY CONTOURING

Cosmetic surgery is on the rise globally, with the industry growing by 8.2 percent in 2015. The sector is growing particularly rapidly in Asia, which accounted for 22 per cent of the market last year, according to figures released Friday at the annual IMCAS (International Master Course on Ageing Science) conference, held on 28-31 January in Paris.

Globally, body-contouring procedures saw the biggest increase in popularity in 2015, increasing by 13.5 per cent. This category includes a wide range of procedures such as facelifts, tummy tucks, buttock augmentation and liposuction.

This was followed by energy devices (such as the use of lasers), which jumped by 9.3 per cent, and cosmeceuticals. Breast implants increased the least, seeing a 3.9 percent growth worldwide.

Experts predict cosmetic procedures to increase steadily on a global basis at an average rate of 8.9 per cent until 2020, at which point the market, which was worth $6.89 billion in 2015, will be worth $10.49 billion.

Asia leads the way

The USA, which accounted for 45 per cent of the market last year, remains the biggest nation for cosmetic surgeries, with Europe claiming 24 per cent of the market and Latin America 9 per cent.

The biggest change will be in Asia, which is expected to see its cosmetic surgery industry grow the most, at an average annual rate of 13.8 per cent between now and 2020. In contrast, Europe, which accounted for 25 per cent of the global market in 2014, will see its share diminished to 21 per cent over the next four years.
