Did y'all know there is a 'Lionguard Polearm' in Rytlock's office inscribed as a trophy for winning the Lion's Arch arena as a member of Destiny's Edge, awarded to Rytlock Brimstone and Garm?
Because that didn't happen in the book. Rytlock and Garm never fought on the same side in the arena. they weren't in the arena more than once, and they were on opposite sides, and neither team was labeled Destiny's Edge.
Either he and Eir and Caithe are getting together and hanging out without Logan and Zojja (those troublemakers) in the arena and elsewhere throughout the five years between Kralkatorrik's rise and the start of the PS... or else those large swaths of mostly-undocumented time in the book (e.g. while preparing to fight Morgus Lethe) all of Destiny's Edge would occasionally drop in to do another battle. (I think this is more likely bc the award specifically mentions DE, and if it was just half the team I doubt it'd have done that. it might also have the year but I'd have to double-check.)
but it's super adorable that apparently Rytlock and Garm have specific history XD.
