As an incest shipper, I mostly think "why the hell would an intense familial relationship make me ship it any less?" ;D

Hmm, I feel that it used to be expected that you moved out earlier but it's moved up to more around mid-twenties b/c Housing is Too Expensive, (like it's much more common to go to uni and then come back home & only move out if you're going to where the Jobs are than it used to be) though if you're in a relationship & you're both earning you'd be expected to move out earlier. That said I feel there's a region & income specific variation.

Here it's often considered a bit immature to live with your parents for much longer than until ~20. It's pretty acceptable if you're a student, because moving out is expensive, but many students in that situation will still try to find a flatshare rather than stay at home. Once you have a proper job, it's definitely expected to move out. People who WANT to live with their parents longer than they have to are often seen as either immature or lazy.

same situation as you over here! It's basically the norm unless you live with a partner/in another city/have a really good job...
@survivingrealitywithoutnormality where are u from?
Hmmm I was wondering if it was an Anglo thing, but since Linn says there is a similar posture in Germany, then maybe itâs more related to whether itâs a mediterranean-influenced culture or not? Besides the economical aspect, ofc...

I mean, Black Sails is a show about pirates and I'm actually kind of glad that it's bloody and dirty and violent and not Disney pirates, but I absolutely understand how it wouldn't be your jam if you don't like seeing that.
Yeah, Iâm not objecting to the existence per se of shows with a high level of violence - peopleâs mileages vary widely on that - but to the general trend right now that basically every big-name TV drama is high on violence. Iâm tired of going âmaybe Iâll enj- yeah no.âÂ

I'm conflicted because on the one hand ... Declan and also more Ronan ... on the other I don't ship Ronan/Adam and I couldn't even make myself read the last TRC book, so, yeah, here we are. /o\
Yeah TRK is pretty heavy on Adam x Ronan content, which I personally love because theyâre my OTP of the series, but if youâre not into the ship, the book would probably be a bit of a slog for you. Throw in the fact that Declan is barely in it at all, and you probably made the right call never to read it.

He better get a TON of page time in the new Ronan series!! Itâs really all I ask!

Clark showed up at the lake house in the middle of the night, feverish, out of control, and terrified of hurting someone. He asked Bruce to chain him up to make sure he wasn't a danger to anyone. It didn't occur to him that bringing himself in close proximity to the person he wanted most while his body was going haywire might not have been his best idea.
linndechir replied to your post: guys, considering my Tumblr Savior stopped working...
Yeah, tumblr savior unfortunately stopped working with the old dashboard function that protects you from tumblrâs ugly new dashboard. New-xkit has a blacklist function thatâs basically like tumblr saviour, though! And lots of other neat functions.
ooooh cool, didnât even know new xKit had that, perfect, thanks a lot <3
