A visual I made of the differences and similarities between the True/Bad Ending to Limit Cut because I”m confused and need answers, but comparing the two endings makes me even more confused.

Why does Yozora look out different windows in the different endings? Does it matter if Yozora is woken up or wakes up himself? What’s the difference between his eyes and his mouth? Why does the speakers for the last line change depending on the ending? What’s with daytime Final World? Is this all Yozora’s dream?

So this goes off the headcanon I have that Selphie and Kairi got close in the year between kh1 and kh2. In the case of this au, Selphie formed a one-sided romantic attraction for Kairi, while Kairi is closeted and may or may not have feelings, but 1000% wouldn't be aware of that.

So in kh2, Kairi hits it off with Olette, and at some point in this au they get together and Kairi realizes she was closeted and all that jazz

Eventually, Selphie hears about this and is pretty sad, but like, what can ya do?

So somehow, Selphie learns that there are other worlds and she meets the radiant garden crew, and she just goes "I vibe with Yuffie. We're gonna be irritating together". They start dating so they can just cause chaos together

And before they start dating, Yuffie just makes sure Selphie is ready for this life

Here enters, Selphie and Yuffie Protection squad.

You too afraid to correct an order someone got wrong at a restaurant? The duo got your back

Also, prime time to have a Yuphie and Kailette double date

Then after Kairi leaves DI for kh3, Yuffie starts to visit DI to take Selphie on dates. Yuffie has Selphie's schedule memorized so she knows when she can and can't come (gotta have boundaries bro. Yuffie can't just show up and take Selphie from school on the daily)

So it'll be lunch at school or a free day where Selphie is at home or on DI, and sometimes Yuffie tells her in advance, but other times she surprises her with a picnic or a trip to another world.

Now Selphie has offhandedly mentioned she has a girlfriend and how much she loves her, and Tidus and Wakka are skeptical because "Why haven't we seen her yet?" They don't believe her until Yuffie shows up while they happen to be there. So then, because only Selphie is aware of the existence of other worlds, Tidus and Wakka begin this conspiracy theory about Yuffie. They try to find her house and ask around, but most people aren't aware of her existence. They try to folow her "home" but they always lose her. They try to ask Selphie, but she either says something sappy like "The best place in hell. No one else could capture my heart" or changes the subject.

The boys never find out, unless they become aware of the existence of other worlds one day

Also, between KH3 and Limit Cut, Yuffie's trying her best with everyone else to find Sora, but she sometimes needs a break from all this depression. So sometimes she "sneaks" Selphie into Merlin's house and Selphie helps them with their looking for Sora work, but when they need a break, they take a walk in Radiant Garden and hang out together. It really is nice to clear your head with your girlfriend sometimes
