i think that wwe has one of the strongest women's divisions going. i have a lot of opinions about it that aren't covered by just that sentiment, but keeping in the spirit of the meme - my god. they have some of the coolest and most interesting women in any promotion, with the nxt women's division being particularly outstanding. like ... guilia, stephanie vaquer, zelina vega (a personal favourite), piper niven, the masterclass that is chelsea green, bayley, blake monroe, sol ruca, like. and those are just the ones i pay attention to largely in passing since i no longer really watch wwe.
Do you have any lore ideas for a soulmates AU?
I may have a few!!!
— soulmates are the same in every life. from one life to the next you have the same soulmate, and sometimes you get the sense that you remember, that your person has always been your person, and sometimes you don’t.
— a variation on the red string theory, but everyone has a coloured string attached to them, and the person who has the corresponding colour is your soulmate. there can be slight variations in colour, making you think you’ve found your soulmate, but in reality, it’s not.
— this is more a plot idea, but I think it would be fun to think about how in the future a piece of tech is created which helps you find your soulmate. however, as with a lot of tech, it falls into the wrong hands/isn’t used for it’s intended purpose. the tech gets used by people wanting to make certain people their soulmate, upsetting the natural balance of the soulmate… world? people find their bonds taken away from them, suddenly without their soulmate.
