I always harden him and make him the king. it makes the most story sense to me and I think he does a lot for the common folk.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
this is more of a meta complaint, but I think lore books should expand the universe, but not contain crucial information about certain characters that impacts the plot and the way we view things. I didn’t read any of the books, I had no idea that Alistair’s mother was really Fiona until I came on tumblr. Bioware, I am begging you, even though I know you won’t listen, but put important things like this actually in your games and not a book that not many people are going to know about/read compared to your games.
