The slight tremble to her voice said it all. Even if her D-Board hovered only a few feet off the ground, it was still enough for her to remain frozen still atop it, palms pressed against it and butt remaining exactly where she’d been for the last twenty minutes. As much as she wanted to force herself to her feet... It was an action easier said than done.

Slowly, the Lightsworn duelist leaned forward until her forehead connected with her board for a light thunk. The only bright side was she was doing this outside of ‘town’, and had been for the better part of a month... But it was also a month she’d been trying - and failing - to get herself to even so much as stand. Freezing seemed to be her body’s go-to reaction, no matter what she tried.

Sighing, she forced herself to sit upright, then fall back, sprawling herself out atop the hoverboard. There had to be an easier way to do this... Maybe she was thinking about it too hard? Or maybe the board really was evil?
