ANNOUNCING: KITSUMAY!
Inspired by and modeled after @scottappreciation's annual Scottuary, we are excited to introduce...KitsuMay, a kitsune-centric Teen Wolf appreciation event running from May 1-31 2025!
âš¡What is it?
KitsuMay is an event meant to boost engagement and content for Kira, Noshiko, and Hikari—the kitsune less focused on in Teen Wolf canon and/or fandom. The goal is to get as much positive Kira, Noshiko, and Hikari-focused content as possible posted throughout the month of May to boost their tags and celebrate these wonderful characters! Because of the attention already given to his character and experience, we will not be including Nogitsune!Stiles, Void!Stiles, or Fox!Stiles content in this event.
âš¡How do I Play?
To participate in the event, simply create Kira, Noshiko, and/or Hikari content for one of the prompts and post your work on tumblr! You may contribute as much or as little as you want, but please only post for the event during the month of May. When posting your work, use the tag #kitsumay2025 or mention us in the post @kirayukimuraappreciation for us to share. Be sure to keep track of your works on your bingo card and attach it to your post! All creative works must be Kira, Noshiko, &/or Hikari-centric and Kira, Noshiko, & Hikari-positive. Other main POV’s and characters are allowed as long as one of the three is still the primary focus. Darker themes are welcome but this is a positive, celebratory event, and no character or ship bashing/hate will be tolerated. No Bad Friend Scott. No Evil Deaton. NSFW material is welcome so long as the author is 18+ and no non-consensual, incestuous, or underage sex acts are depicted. No Nogitsune!Stiles, Void!Stiles, or Fox!Stiles content at this time.
âš¡RULES:
Download the KitsuMay Bingo Card before or during May 2025.
Create any kind of kitsune-centric content—fic, edit, art, playlist, etc.—using one of the prompts, then post during the month of May.
Written works are encouraged, must be at least 500 words, and can also be submitted to our Ao3 collection.
Bingos are achieved by posting 5 creative works corresponding to 5 different prompts going horizontally, vertically, diagonally, OR by creating nsfw works for any 5 prompts for an nsfw Bingo. Only one prompt may be used per creative work unless the work significantly focuses on more than one of the three kitsune, then you may combine up to 2 prompts.
Blackout (Full Board) Bingo is achieved by fulfilling all prompts on the board. To earn Blackout Bingo, you must create at least one work for each of the three kitsune. You may combine up to 3 prompts per work only if you are working toward a Blackout (Full Board Bingo).
The free square must still be paired with a creative work to make a bingo but can be for any concept you want.
You can combine fills with other May events (such as @teenwolf-meta's Meta May Mondays, etc.) as long as Kira, Noshiko, &/or Hikari are the primary focus.
When you post a work, be sure to include any relevant tags and trigger warnings for sensitive content (ex: suicidal ideation, non-canonical MCD, etc.) and attach your bingo card with the prompt marked off.
Late submissions accepted until Saturday, June 7th.
