I have been looking forward to make this post for a while now and I had to rewrite everything because it turns out Tumblr App makes any long video post dissappear from existence.
Since the japanese dub videos of Lightspeed are one of my most reblogged posts, I want to share with you the version I grew up with. The Latinamerican Dub of these Flinx scenes during the episode, directed and recorded in Venezuela.
Jinx is voiced by Rebeca Aponte, while Kid Flash / Wally West is voiced by Luis Enrique Poján (As a curious note, he also voiced Hot Spot during the 5th season).
✧︵‿. Some of the changes in this version:
✧.° Kid Flash gets localized as "Chico Flash" (Flash Boy or quite literally Kid Flash)
✧.° Other name changes in this dub include See-More to "Ojo" ("Eye"). Kyd Wykkyd to "Chico Extraño" ("Strange Kid" or "Strange Boy") and Billy Numerous to "Billy Multiple".
✧.° "I think you can do better" gets changed to "Creo que podrías cambiar de vida" ("I think you could change your life" or "You could use a change of life")
✧.° "You want to see what makes me tick" gets changed to "Quieres ver lo que me conmueve" ("You want to see what touches me" or "what I moves me")
✧.° "I never took you for the unicorn type" gets changed to "Nunca creí que te gustara dibujar" ("Never thought you would like drawing" or "you were into drawing")
✧.° "I'm bad luck". gets changed to "Nací para esto". ("I was born for this".)
