It’s Valentine’s Day and Alec is currently freaking out; this is the first Valentines that he’s spending with Magnus. Before Magnus, Alec didn’t really care much about Valentine’s Day, but now, Alec has a boyfriend; his first boyfriend and his first Valentine’s day.

Alec is pacing around the loft, he’s been trying to cook a nice meal for his boyfriend while he’s out meeting a client.

Alec has bought flowers, has bought chocolates, he just bought everything that is related to Valentine’s Day.

Alec takes a little break and begins to think. It’s his first Valentine’s Day with Magnus; they have been dating for 3 months now but it feels like they were dating for even longer. Alec was so happy with Magnus, words can’t even explain how he was happy with him. He felt more free, he felt good, he felt so many things that he didn’t know he would ever feel. Magnus made him so happy these past few months and Alec is forever thankful for that.

Alec was currently setting up the table. Hemade so much food it’s kind of overwhelming him. Alec hears the door open and his heart immediately starts beating faster. “Fuck,” Alec says to himself and walks towards the front door to greet his boyfriend.

“Hey,” Alec says awkwardly when sees his boyfriend taking off his coat.

Magnus looks up and smiles widely and walks closer to his boyfriend and putting his hand on his shoulders. “Hi there.”

Alec puts his hands on Magnus’ waist and smiles. “How was your client?”

“Hmm, alright, but let’s not talk about him okay? Where’s my hello kiss?” Magnus asks teasingly, licking his lips and looking right at Alec.

Alec chuckles and leans closer to Magnus and pressed his lips against his.

Magnus’ hands start moving to Alec’s neck, pulling him closer, making Alec almost forget the dinner that he had planned.

Before anything could get heavy, Alec pulls back from the kiss and Magnus let’s out a small groan, opening his eyes and pouting at Alec, his lips swollen and pink from the kiss.

“I have something planned for us,” Alec says as he takes Magnus’ hand and drags him towards the kitchen and he hears Magnus let out a small gasp.

“What’s all this for, Alexander?” Magnus asks curiously as he walks towards the table, looking at the food and flowers.

“Well…It’s Valentine’s Day, I thought I would do something special for you,” Alec puts his hands in his hair, scratching it, “Is-is this too much?” Alec asks nervously.

Magnus looks at his boyfriend with complete awe, “No, it’s not. It’s perfect Alec, thank you.”

Alec smiles and walks towards the table and takes one of the flowers and hands it to his boyfriend, “Here’s to our first Valentine’s together, and hopefully for many more to come.”

Magnus looks at the flower and then his boyfriend with complete adoration and walks towards him and hugging him tightly, “I love you.”

Alec wraps his arms around Magnus, hugging him back, “I love you too, Happy Valentine’s Day.”

They held each other  a little longer; then Magnus’ stomach growled, and they decided to eat.
