One other thing I wanna talk about: Throughout Chapter 5, both Flowery and Ralsei himself are anxious about letting Asgore see Ralsei because of his resemblance to Asriel, thinking that will hurt him.
But, when Asgore actually does see Ralsei at the end of the chapter, he's just like, "Yeah, I guess he kind of looks like my son at a glance, but eh, they're not that close." Like, Asgore is so good at recognizing his children that while he recognizes Kris right away in the Dark World (even though they're, um, blue), Ralsei's resemblance to Asriel doesn't affect him much because to him, it's only superficial.
I'm also intrigued by his comment, "You can barely tell he's a monster at all," referring again to Ralsei. I'm not sure how well Asgore understands what a "Darkner" is, but he seems to recognize that Ralsei isn't even the same class of being as his son. Asgore was shown in Undertale to be pretty perceptive when it came to these things, since when he encounters Chara at the end of the Genocide route, he can tell that they aren't human anymore. ("I've never seen a monster like you before.")
