Lightning is beautiful
I will never understand why people say that lighting is just a girl version of cloud. How is lightning anything like cloud? She’s literally just like squall and has a similar backstory to him.
Both of them had to grow up fast due to trauma.
Both have gun/sword weapons.
Both had deep ties to their sisters and that influenced their later lives.
Both had an arc that was about opening up to people and relying on them.
Both are cool and collected characters. They also can say harsh and cruel things just to push others away.
Both of them were talented soldiers and had a special rank.
The only difference between the two is that lightning is more violent than squall was and says what she thinks to people’s faces while squall just talks shit in his head.
Other then people are more familiar with cloud, I will never understand why people say this. I’m just curious.
I have always seen Elsa as Lightning from the FFXIII saga, because of the bond and struggles that the two of them had gone through with their younger sisters, but after the official Frozen II trailer revealed the Nokk for the first time, I began to see another common link between the two characters. By picturing the Nokk as the Eidolon Odin's gestalt-horse form. As well as the fact that both Elsa and Lightning had to gain their respect and prove their worthiness to them by facing them head on.
