STRAIGHT QUEER Definition: Straight queer, or heteroqueer, also known as queerhet, or hetroqueer, are terms used to describe any individual who identifies as both queer and straight. It may also be defined as a heterosexual practice or identity which is considered to be queer, though this definition is sometimes considered to be controversial within spaces which define queer as "non-heterosexual" exclusively. There are many identities and experiences which fall under the definition of Queerhet, these include (but are not limited to) the following: 1) Transhets, or any trans individual who is straight or hetero- in some way. Straight individuals with other gender modalities, such as isogender, ipsogender, and ultergender may also refer to themselves as queerhet. 2) Strayts, or non-binary individuals who are straight in a uniquely non-binary way. This includes enbyhet, contraic, straight diamoric, and enanteic persons. 3) A-spec individuals who are also straight/hetero- which include heterosexual alloaros, heteroromantic asexuals, and many others. 4) Anyone who experiences hetero- tertiary attraction (non-rose or eriattraction) such as straight oriented aroaces, straight angled aroaces, or heteroplatonic individuals. 5) Many varioriented individuals who are not aspec, such as a heterosexual biromantic individual, or a heteroromantic homosexual woman who is a straightbian. 6) Abrosexuals, abroromantics, genderfluid individuals, and anyone with a fluid identity who may be straight or hetero- oriented on occasion, such as omnistraights. 7) Multigender individuals (who may or may not be fluid) who are straight in some way may consider themselves Queerhets. One example of this would be a male-female bigender individual who is a straightcian due to being both WLM and MLM. 8) Heteroflexible and amplusic Straight individuals, as well as those who would define themselves as "straight now but not forever" or "straight but with exceptions". This may also include cupiohex individuals. 9) Polyamorous, ambiamorous, and other individuals involved in Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM) who are Straight in some way, especially those who are Straight but in a queer relationship through ENM. 10) Pluralian and m-spec individuals who may have a preference for the opposite gender and identify as Straight in addition to other labels (ex. m-spec straights, deltheons, mesriens), or those who are reclaiming the label due to not being attracted to the same gender (ex. differosexuals, penultisexuals, heterenboric, ultramoric duarics). 11) Straight individuals who are also Non-Conforming in a queer way. Such as a Gender Non-Conforming (GNC) women who presents completely masculine, or a Pronoun Non-Conforming (PNC) man who uses neopronouns in addition to she/her. 12) Someone who is xenic, xenine, and/or xenogender while also being Straight would be considered Queerhet. This experience may overlap with Transhet or Strayt but does not necessarily have to. 13) Any individual who is straight in some way but is in a queer relationship. This includes multiple of the above examples, such as partnered straight alloaros, Transhets, and many more. 14) Those with a sex modality such as transsex, altersex, isosex, ultersex, or ipsosex who are also Straight. 15) Any individual who is straight in some way but is in a queer relationship. This includes multiple of the above examples, such as partnered straight alloaros, Transhets, and many more. 16) A cishet that is neurodivergent (such as autism, ADHD, etc.), can be neurogender or neurosexual. 17) A straight individual that is intersex.
