do you have any yttd theories? any speculation for the new chapter (whenever it comes out)?
First one is that Keiji's dead hero is Joe's dead dad. I think this is basically in the text based on what I've read on the wiki.
The more theory part of this is I think Keiji wished Joe into the game. There has to be a reason why we don't see Keiji signing his Asu-Naro Vow and I'm sure that he wished to meet his hero's son and accidentally got Joe destined for the death game.
Because, no. I do not believe Midori that the four brought in are simply even the odds between participants. Like sure maybe Kugie was to raise Kanna's odds rather than lower them but if that's completely true who the hell is Nao meant to be affecting? She doesn't even Mishima's odds. His are already lower than average and all she did was make him likelier to die.
Meanwhile Joe does kinda lower Sara's odds, but like if any of the four non-participants are doing that: It's Kai. You know Kai with his laptop full of incriminating evidence of Sara being linked to Asu-Naro?
I think both Joe and Nao were wished into the game in the same way Alice is by Reko (sorry, kinda of another theory, but I assume that Alice is the replacement participant for Midori based on the way the Yabusame's flashback cutscenes go). I think that fact will be revealed about Nao first by the Mishima doll (hopefully doll anyway) we've seen in one of the preview screenshots. Then I think Joe will be revealed in the final main game.
Second theory, which is less speculating about the future and more that about the earlier chapters, this is where I think all the votes went in the first main game:
This is working off the manga, which is why Sara has votes (if it was going off my game, Sara would've randomly voted Q-Taro in the first round and Sou in the second), but I have very little reason to believe the votes would be different in the game.
The bold names are for ones that are confirmed either by the characters stating out loud that's what they did/will do, seeing Sara vote, or that being the only logical place their vote could go (like Kai and Sou aren't going to vote for themselves).
I'll acknowledge that Q-Taro's votes are a bit iffy, but I genuinely think it adds more to his character if he votes for Kai then deeply regrets it afterwards.
For speculation about the final main chapter:
The Sou lives route is going to have Sou get the Keymaster card and try to get everyone to vote for him as revenge for them killing Kanna.
I don't think it's a coincidence that this route ends with Sou left with the three people who voted for her. I also don't think he'd want to spare Gin just because he's a child; the grown man has been trying to kill a seventeen year old all game
In the Kanna routes (which are the two I'm actually playing through, each with a different friend). I think that these are going to start to centre around Keiji trying to convince Sara that the remaining Yabusame is not to be trusted and they should kill them.
This probably sounds a lot wilder an idea than above, but like hear me out. I do not trust Keiji further than I can spit. He is very clearly self-interested in getting out and using Sara to get to that goal. Now in the Kanna routes, he has made it to the final round with three children and one adult who sees through his shit. He is going to want to get rid of the adult. (note; I don't hate Keiji, I think he's interesting, I do think he's untrustworthy and is going to take a dark turn).
For Alice, placing suspicion is easy. He's a murderer. He got real Hinako killed. He spent all of chapter one lying about his identidy. He used the grief eraser 5000.
For Reko, who is (and has been for a while) the only reasonable adult in the game, I think this is a bit harder. She's definitely got like an anger in her since Alice's death which he could use. But I think more like that it'll be about Reko never sharing what happened in her first trial and the idea that it could have been literally anything. I mean, isn't it weird that Alice and Reko weren't linked together for their first trial like all the other pairs who knew each other on the outside?
Following on from the above: I think Reko's first trial gave her something that only matters on the final floor. Don't know what it is, but I think she was given something that is going to come into play in the final chapter. (Note: this could also be true of Gin instead, but I think if he's been given help because his mother is somehow involved in the game rather than anything else)
I think every character is going to have a solo ending and then we will also get at least one bigger ending per route.
Both Nao and Q-Taro (the only characters who made it to Chpt 2 who are now dead in every route), have solo endings of a types. The Massacre ending and the game over with the escape ticket. I think each character will get at least this sort of solo ending, but that there will also be some endings that allows more escapes.
