The Huddle Lamp by David Graas combines 3D-printing with ingenious lighting design, creating a bulb cover that imitates the architecture of a megalopolis. Inspired by the 'huddled' nature of our cities, Graas designed the lamp as an expression of the the greatness that comes from the interconnectivity that 'huddling' brings about.

The beauty of the Huddle Lamp also lies in its production. 3D-printing allows creation on demand, meaning your product won't sit around in a warehouse for ages before being sold. Each is printed to order right when you want it.

David Graas studied product design at the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam. He's been working as an independent product designer since 2004. Huddle lamp and other examples of his work are available on Milkster.com—a marketplace for goods direct from the makers.
