This is becoming a pattern among right-wing transphobes.

You mentioned you had proof against the allegations cojean annick talked about in her book, can you explain ?
Main things that make me doubt her story:
Plagiarism
She plagiarized heavily from existing sources, real life quotes, anecdotes, interviews that were not about sexual abuse in the original context, altered them slightly and used them to flesh out her book scenes (fiction authors frequently use this technique to make their stories sound more realistic - it's called verisimilitiude https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/verisimilitude): Example: Gaddafi's daughter Aisha once said during an interview everything her father means to her - brother, friend, teacher, father, and leader. It was very sweet and touching to read. So Cojean steals this quote and has Gaddafi saying it to a girl before raping her. To me, taking his own daughter's words and twisting them into something sick, is the one most unforgivable thing this slimey woman did.
She also plagiarizes some of the anecdotes from Renate's book and changed them from consensual to non-consensual.
She plagiarized Mismari, who was already not the most trustworthy source (he had a grudge against Gaddafi after being jailed for corruption and fled to France to conspire with Sarkozy just before the kickoff to the Arab Spring)
It is very likely (will have to fact check myself on this later) that Mismari and her could have met with Sarkozy and collaborated on having her write this hit piece for propaganda reasons
2. Propaganda as a weapon of war
Not proof by itself alone, but interesting that over the decades nobody has ever accused Gaddafi of sexual assault (except for a married couple who set him up to extort money out of him in the late 2000s) until just "coincidentally" during a war waged upon him by the West in 2011. 🤔
Propaganda is a big element of any war, it's purpose is to dehumanize the enemy, to remove any sympathy people would have felt for them, and to make the aggressor seem more justified in attacking them (the old this isn't about oil, it's about human rights lie.) In early 2011, the West started a rumor that Gaddafi was giving his troops viagara to rape women as a weapon of war. After the war was over, Amnesty International debunked this rumor. Before 2011 none of Gaddafi's nurses or bodyguards ever once made such accusations. There were allegations and rumors of him flirting and even sleeping around, but never of him forcing himself on anyone. There are anecdotes of him asking women to sleep with him, and them rejecting his advances, and in every situation he handled it with grace and humor and respected their decision.
There were anti-Gaddafi groups such as LIFG and NFSL in and outside of Libya, all the way from the 80s or before, who with the blessing of the Reagan administration, started and spread all kinds of horror stories about Gaddafi, but even they never accused him of sexual assault. It was only after 2011 (a time when the 5 Ws of journalism had largely been thrown by the wayside and major news organizations were spreading claims fast and loose without bothering to confirm their veracity first, btw) that suddenly this one French writer came out with these supposed testimonials. And even then, when his bodyguards and nurses were asked, and had no reason to lie, because Gaddafi was already dead, they still maintained that they never heard of or saw the things Cojean described occurring.
3. Inconsistencies
Gaddafi's track record, philosophy, attitude, policies, manner of speech, and personality in real life were so different to the character of him Cojean portrays in her writing. Simply, it feels like she created a fictional character based on her idea in her mind of what an evil Arab sultan would act like, based on fetish porn and racist stereotypes. (Her "Gaddafi" character behaves more like a gulf Arab prince than a Libyan imo.)
I've read every article and book I can find, pro or anti, and watched every interview and documentary of I could find, of people who knew him in real life, (plus obviously his own writings and footage of him public and private) and I swear he acts very different than how she portrays him. This is going to sound horrible and gross but if he was going to coerce or rape someone (he wouldn't, but just for the sake of argument) I know he would have done it a different way than how she imagines it.
Another weird thing, she has a scene where the victim girl comes out all bitten and scratched after sex with him, (she likely stole this idea from Mismari's account of the woman I mentioned at the beginning who tried to extort money from Gaddafi) so the nurse, Galyna, says in horror "who could do this to a child?!" Ok so why has the real Galyna never come forth with this? And why would he trust her so much and have her with him constantly if he was doing these things and she disapproved of them? That's pretty weird.
Last I heard, Gaddafi's widow, Safia is planning to sue Cojean for defamation. I hope she gets a good lawyer for once who can go to Libya and France personally, do a thorough investigation, pull some records, fact check times and dates and other info, and prove for once and all whether there was any basis to these allegations. I'll share it if I hear anything in the future.
