Swan Song || CH4 Execution
It’s weird how quickly one’s attitude can turn around when faced with certain death. A prime example of this would be the current case of Mathias Amrein’s acceptance of his fate.

Votes Are In...
There are equal votes for Kokoro Teishi and the Bancho of Ikebukuro.Â
A conclusion has not been reached.
Infirmary Confirmary || Kouki || Trial 4 || Re: Kakeru
"The number is off."
Kouki waited for his opportunity to begin speaking, and quickly end this nonsense. for the fourth time, they had seen someone murdered, and for the fourth time they entered this room. The culprit would be found and dealt with in a speedy fashion, and they would return to their new status quo.
It felt more than a little tedious. Even so, Kouki felt an obligation to solve these murders, lest they somehow go unsolved. He would follow the trend of simple evidence, rather than immediately lay everything on the table. The time to deal with the killer's games would come soon enough. With that in mind, he elaborated on his statement.
"I say that, Kinokyu-kun, because there were actually two bottles missing. Not that the first was very far from its home. We found a bottle in the infirmary, completely empty. The other one was under Kaori-san's bed."
He delivered the second bottle's location with a neutral expression, seemingly unbothered by the fact that a tool of murder was hiding under the bed of someone he was so close to.
"Don't go so quickly to assume that it's anything more than a plant, though."
Uncertain | Kakeru | Trial 4 | RE: Kaori
Here they were again. Another murder, another trial, another friend gone. Is this place trying to get them abandon all hope? At this rate, it's doing a good job.
The last trial hit him hard, and this one did not fail to meet those expectations. His roommate, a prince, is now dead. His kingdom probably relied on him, and now what will they do? The only think Kakeru can do is give them answers. What happened to Aimé and who could do such a thing.
In response to Kaori --
"Kaorikuma, let's assume that someone here maybe doesn't follow. So can we all agree to explain things very simply?"
For those that were wondering, yes Kakeru was referring to himself. He honestly had no grasp or idea on how this murder happened. What he knows is what was in the King's File. Oh, and one other thing.
"Anyway! Since cyanide was used, Kokoro, Henry, and I all checked out the infirmary! There was definitely a bottle of cyanide missing!"
Repetition | Kaori | Trial 4 | ATTN: All
These trials were getting repetitive -- Kaori was sure she couldn't be the only one who thought so. They filed in, ran their mouths, and a culprit was found without much issue.
Routine at its finest.
Kaori stood at her podium, hands folded in front of her as her eyes scanned over the other remaining students. The trial room was getting quieter, wasn't it? Even so, she cleared her throat before speaking.
"Well, then. Shall we?"
"Let's start with something easy -- The body. I assume -- or hope, at least -- that everyone is aware that our departed prince was killed through the use of Cyanide. It is most likely that the apothecary replaced the prop poison with it, considering the hastily discarded robes nearby."
Kaori looks back out at the rest of her classmates, glancing around expectantly at each of them.
"Surely you all follow this much, yes?"

Ch. 4 - Trial Start!
It’s that time again. The investigations draw to a close as the Black King’s echo over the loudspeakers.Â
“You know the drill.” he says, before the speakers die once again.
With that, you all shuffle off to the trial room. It’s time to avenge our poor prince...Â

No Icons Because I'm Running Late | Kaori | Trial 3 | ATTN: Kakeru & Kokoro
Kaori had remained silent for the trial so far, wanting to see what her classmates had figured out on their own... Which, as it stood, was sort of a bit, she guessed, but there was a detail not yet mentioned that she felt very, well... Worth mentioning.
"Excuse me," she started, raising a hand as she attempted to gather everyone's attention.
"While on the topic of Ryuzaki-san, I would like to bring to light the contents of her pockets. She was carrying a friendship bracelet with traces of blood on it. According to Baby Pawn, the only people who received the friendship bracelets were Kinokyu-kun and Teishi-san."
The girl's expression turns serious -- hardened, almost -- and she crosses her arms.
"Let's talk about that."
