the snow bride (2014): tropes include fake dating and a surprise kiss, brothers who are/were in love with the same girl, and angst mired not out of stupid circumstances (well, take that with a grain of salt) but rather do i do this for my career/myself or do i not do it because i love you. pretty faces, cozy sweaters, patricia heaton(?) as the weird matriarch kennedy not the kennedys. fun, tropey, ridiculous, fun, everyone looks like they’re having a great time.

enchanted christmas (2017): exes reunite by accident, there’s dancing! and a kid (if that kind of turns you off). they were high school sweethearts with Different Visions for their lives, she doesn’t want to overturn her life/her daughter’s life by getting messed up with him, he might go out on tour with his dancing partner, who can say what madness will happen! there’s dancing, carlos pena teaching young children how to dance via cookie metaphors, and irl marrieds who seem to dig each other a lot playing off each other.

the mistletoe promise (2016): another fake dating movie with an actual contract! two grinches who don’t like christmas end up meeting by chance at a shopping mall food court (for real!) and decide that they will be each other’s dates to office christmas gatherings because they’re both single and both hate christmas but want to get further in their career. sure! feelings end up complicating things, duh. the end of this one is kinda lame (pardon the word), but the rest of it makes up for it.

stop the wedding! (2016): rachel boston is really charming and i don’t really get it. this is the anti-parent trap. two grown ass adults (who should know better) find that their respective parental figures (her aunt, his father) are engaged. they think it’s going way too fast, they don’t trust each other, and so they conspire to get them to break up. along the way, they reveal their trust issues to one another and fall in love!

autumn in the vineyard (2016): fake romeo & juliet with two families who own competing vineyards? anyhow, rachel leigh cook is an Old School wine-maker who believes in idk communing with the grapes on the trellises while brendan penney who sounds like Every Ontario Boy Ever has gone to University and studied Wine-Making and thus knows Science and uses Technology and Drones to make sure that they get the best wine ever. this one also is exes reuniting because he once made out with her in high school or something, anyway, they bicker a bunch and she’s trying to open her own winery to impress her dad, love results, etc.
