Parker: What are they in for?
Eliot: This isn’t jail.
Parker: So, they can leave?
Eliot: Well, no-
Parker, pointing to a flamingo: I bet that one killed somebody.

The Gloat
One thing I do really like about Redemption is that they offically named the "stand so the mark can see us as they're arrested" thing. It's the Gloat. I'm almost certain it didn't have a formal name in the original, not one spoken in the show.
But we do love the gloats.

04x16 The Gold Job
05x05 The Gimme a ‘K’ Street Job
05x08 The Broken Wing Job
Fanfiction idea of the day that I randomly came up with when trying to sleep last night. Sorry for the late posting. It’s been a long day.
As always, please tag me if you decide to write it.
So as you are aware, if you follow my page, I am a fan of both Psych and Leverage. When I was trying to sleep last night I couldn’t help but think that Parker and Shawn have some similarities and what if they were family members?
I’m thinking Shawn’s uncle probably had a kid that was given up for adoption where she ended up with that family that I refuse to talk about and no one knew she existed until the Leverage team had a client in Santa Barbara.
Now, we also know Parker’s dislike of psychics so it’ll be interesting to see the Leverage crew deal with Shawn while trying to work together to bring down the same man.
Watching the original series finale for Leverage and catching a whole boatload of parallels from the first episode:
Parker, breaking into a building solo from the roof and heading straight to a security computer.
Nate, on an old headphone + mic set, not his usual earbuds, with projections lighting up his face.
Hardison, breaking into some upper level door
Sophie, on stage, in something medieval, doing TERRIBLE (our first clue as to what's really going on, too).
Eliot, being a cocky fighter (as always, but still).
The whole thing over before you even have time to think... except that it isn't.
The five of them in a circle as viewed from above.
The ending of a couple mourning a lost child, while Leverage gathers on the other side of the room, one person in a chair doing most of the talking.
Hot damn they did a good job

Remember that time the Leverage crew couldn't hack the bad guy's computer so they hacked his brain instead?

The Plotbunny Job
Leverage team has to infiltrate a music label. It's up to Hardison and Eliot to produce and compose a "hit track" while...Parker plays pop princess? (Nate is also there.)
Sophie is busy with Hardison impersonating music execs.
It's Discovered that Parker's artistic style is more Siouxsie and the Banshees than Poppy or Grimes. So the team takes turns using AI to contribute parts of the song ("In a Minute") to cover.
