I painted Levail on a 16ā x 20ā canvas for the Fire Emblem Malediction Zine! It was my first time participating in a Zine, and I was super excited!

Radiant Dawnās localization used the normal script and skipped most of the extended script. Serenes Forest has some of the extended script translated, though its transcription of RDās script is still incomplete (like almost all of Part 3, save for the first and last two chapters).
Iām just translating Zelgius and Levailās conversation at the end of Part 3, Chapter 2 out of personal bias. Iād have to check the scripts in more detail to pinpoint any differences beforehand; I only know of Nailah having an extra line (that consists of āI see... I agreeā).
The regular version of the script can be read via Feduleās LP.
Levail: General Zelgius of the Central Army. Itās an honor to meet you.
Zelgius: General Levail of Duke Gaddosā northern force, is it? Are you in command here?
Levail: No, not I.
Zelgius: In that case, I would like to meet the central commander right away. Please pass along the message.
Levail: ...Unfortunately, there is no ācentral commanderā here.
Zelgius: ...What do you mean?
Levail: The northern force consists of several different groups hastily joined together, so a proper chain of command has not been established.
Zelgius: So, each force was fighting the enemy on its own? Our advantage in numbers will be meaningless like that.
Levail: Quite so. But... Taking orders from others is beneath the nobles, I suppose.
Zelgius: If itās a matter of peerage, as the representative of the Duke of Gaddosā forces, shouldnāt you be qualified to lead?
Levail: If the Duke of Gaddos were here, then probably. However, because he has remained in the capital, my words carry no weight here.
Zelgius: How troubling.
Levail: Itās quite dishonorable. But now that you are here, General, the situation will be rectified.
Zelgius: Yes, one can hope.
Levail: ...So, are the rumors true? Iāve heard that the power in Begnion has split between the apostle and the senators.
Zelgius: True, they do not agree on how to deal with the Laguz Alliance.
Levail: General Zelgius, as Prime Minister Sephiranās confidant... What is your opinion on this war?
Zelgius: I am the empireās soldier. I will accomplish any mission I am assigned. As long as there are enemies who threaten the empire, we shall fight. That is our duty, is it not?
Levail: ...Indeed.
Zelgius: Then do not trouble your mind with politics. Let the nobles worry about their games. We should focus on this war.
