Fic Summary:
Wyll Ravengard was not a religious man, preferring the affairs of the mortal over the divine, but in the silent stillness of the lonely night, he supposed his self-sacrifice was another form of devotion.
Chapter 12 Summary:
The halls of Wyrmโs Crossing were cavernous and cold. Wyllโs footsteps echoed across the walls with a hollow, foreboding quality. He had hoped his re-entry into the city might have been a grand one, with a welcoming embrace from the Fist once heโd dropped his surname into the conversation, but as he made his way into the hall, stinging with embarrassment, he conceded that it had been a vain notion. Really though, the guard didnโt need to call him ugly.
