realistic: regularly attends whatever cons are in town. saves up enough money to buy a stupidly large number of comics and memorabilia because he’s a giant nerd.

unrealistic but hilarious: he spent the money to get the stupid bluetooth attachment for pokemon go and carries it on him.

heart-crushing: spent their entire adolescence trying to get shawn to leave henry’s and, when that didn’t work, trying to get cps called on him because he knew henry was full of shit.

i reject canon and substitute my own: he gave up and filed himself and shawn as married, like, the year psych started because all the paperwork and claiming shawn on his taxes was easier that way and he saved money.

realistic: has the schedule for when the various cops and detectives come down worked out well enough that he can always be wrist-deep in a corpse and have his hands covered in viscera whenever they come in just to be an obnoxious little shit

unrealistic but hilarious: has to learn how to properly cook after the zombieism thing happens because he realizes that asking for brains and habanero peppers on a pizza is weird and kind of gross

heart-crushing: s3′s ending was absolutely 150% genuine for him and the entire reason he said “fuck it” and was his own guinea pig with the vaccine was bc of that.

You agonising for 30 minutes asking, me agonising for 30 minutes answering. Rip we’re trying our best.

1. Rosa’s resurrection. Such a well-executed plot twist. Surprising, satisfying, emotional. Everything that built up to it is so obvious in hindsight and yet I never saw it coming. I remember during S1 as well, making a comment around 1x10 that I felt like they were mishandling the Rosa stuff and lost direction with it. She kind of dropped away in the second half—and then bam. Nope! They were building to something else entirely! I’m ready for S2 to be the season of Liz&Rosa. Rosa was the catalyst for so much of the story in S1, but like it’s a role we’ve seen before—a murdered girl driving a mystery. The fact that she gets to exist OUTSIDE of that established story trope and kind of break the rules of her own set role is really exciting. It’s not something I’ve seen before. She’s shifting from a passive catalyst to an active one with agency.

2. Max’s death. Look I emotionally hate it but again it was so well done. Max’s entire character arc in S1 is fantastic and underrated. How he moved from being too afraid to do anything vs him acting (I think Max saving Liz is instinct vs saving Rosa isn’t). The insight to his guilt and the gradual build to his sacrifice. But also how we started with “just a guy from Roswell”, just wanting to be normal, and ended as a dead guy attached to some “saviour” destiny, manic on energy, energy he became cornered into harnessing to stop Noah—my heart aches. In retrospect so much of Max’s stuff is building towards that death. I knew after the hospital scenes in 1x04 he was headed towards a storyline of sacrifice with using his powers, but I did not extend that sacrifice as far as death! 😭

i am so eternally thankful that by some twist of fate we became mutuals on here and then on twitter and that you’ve become one of the most important ppl in my life... it’s just so nice to be able to TALK TO SOMEONE who actually understands what i’m going through and to have someone i can rely on to talk to about anything literally and you’ve been there for me for what it feels like FOREVER and i am so grateful for you. thank you for all that you’ve done for me and for letting me rant and vent to you whenever i need to and for even talking about all Fandom and TV stuff!!!!!!!!!!! u r also SO good at talking about tv and i hope one day we finally get to get our 2bed 2bath house in california where ur a tv critique and i’m like somehow famous doing something random hehehehe 

favorite show currently airing i’d say is single parents... i truly love this show, and even the guy i hate the most (douglas lol) isn’t that terrible and is getting better, and the kids are actually pretty good at acting. 

favorite season of superstore... HARD to say honestly, i think the classic s1... i think each season has the same amount of episodes that i think are iconic but then they also have the Not As Strong episodes, so it’s hard to say that i have a fave season. but this season’s amy x jonah is pretty sweet and honestly as someone who was invested since literally day 1 it’s refreshing to see one of my otps succeed and not completely fall apart writing wise once they’re together!!!

ele or magnum is definitely ele...! they each have their own problems, but ele is way more self aware than magnum is lol. and of course my mom and my first husband!!! and my forever fave friendship!!! but magnum is still a fun time when things are done right and when i suffer over higgins and magnum ;___; 

and oh god i haven’t watched either the librarians or deception in SO LONG hahah so i don’t know if it’s easy to say. i would say maybe ezekiel/cassandra but mostly because of my investment of ezekiel and the bad posts i had to go through when i saw that most ppl shipped cassandra with someone else :-)
