if you've seen crash (1996) but you haven't read the novel its based on, you wouldn't know that in the book ballard and vaughan are both high as fuck on LSD for the whole scene where ballard drives vaughan around then they fuck then vaughan tries to hit him with his car. and ballard sees the cars as angels. btw.
