There’s a specific kind of silence you only find at 17,000 feet. It’s just you, the hum of the engine, and the prayer flags snapping in the wind.
I finally took the plunge and did a 7-day solo circuit through Ladakh. No backup van, no tour group, just the road and the mountains.
