Been wanting to do this for a while. 💫 💇🏾‍♀️ +/- 9 years natural (4c type hair). 1 and a half years with dreads (combed out for through 5 months and 5 hours) Never cut it before. Never dyed/coloured (about to 🤭). Hair length to just passed half way down my back while still natural (last image). Safe to say I reached my hair goal. I'm the laziest natural you'll ever meet though. Nothing but protective styles and moisturizers. ...sending a BIG shout-out to this person in the picture! I, Jay met Realton one of the barbers at @legends_barber last year (2018) when my sister went to cut her hair. I wanted to do a vlog about the #legendaryexperience as an outsider looking in but due to the lighting which affected the quality of the footage, I couldn't post it #sad4days😟 . . What I will say though is that Realton is a people's person, he spoke to his client and assures her that her hair is in safe hands cos he could sense her trepidation. I kept asking 1000s of questions and was all over the place trying to find the right angle, at no point in time did he get agitated or irritated. I asked about an undercut, getting my ends cut, styling, hair dye, etc, lol, and he patiently answered all my questions.
